2 waterings a day should be fine until your plants get a little bigger. Container and cube size will also make a difference. I flood my tray 6 times a day when growing in only a 4x4” cube to keep them from drying out. I accidentally overlooked watering one of the 1.5 gallon containers filled with croutons the other day and by the next morning the container was bone dry and the plant was droopy. Only skipped one feeding and all the croutons and the 4x4” cube completely dried out. Took about 4 days for the plant to bounce back from the minor drought period but doesn’t look like it will ever be the same. Thanks m8.. always appreciate your input. I'd been wondering about multiple 'short' feeds per day as I'd read a bit about it when researching rockwool growing in general.. im starting to wonder from your thoughts just how many feeds they could take in one lights on period.. but we know of course that @420autoflower smashes it out of the park with 3 daily floods in a table (correct me if im wrong).. I've been looking at drip rings the last few days on the multiple short feeds front. I assume that the drip ring would be the choice for multiple feedong of cubes?? It wouldn't be hard to set up 1 plant on a dripper for a test I suppose
Hand watering all the plants in the 5x5” and the 4 testers is getting to be a hassle as they are drinking over 15 gallons a day. Hard to keep up…
Been pumping gallons of R/O and mixing a lot of nutes to keep these girls happy.
This little countertop R/O unit is a workhorse
You can rig up something simple like this if you want a automated drip type system. The $3 Floraflex caps are available at most hydro stores and the pump was only $6.
