New Grower Hope She's Gentle. It's My First Time! - Think Different

Hey man. Hope all is well with you. I grow td before and she grow by herself, I just gave them food and never had a problem. Or my tent was overcrowded coz I was dreaming if I put a lot of them I would get a lot of weed. It went ok but hey, it was full :D and the smoke... mmm very nice. Really man, it's a fantastic smoke :) I wish u gonna be as happy with her as I was/am. You've got some friendly growers around to give a helping hand if needed. I am still very fresh but so i dont feel comfortable to give advices but I will sub up and watch you and your lady kick ass and to read and learn myself. Have a great day. :)

Thanks for hopping on board, Tdam. You're right, there are plenty of helpful growers on here who are willing to give helpful advice! Bro, I'm a new grower just like you, so I understand where you're coming from. I'm real hesitant to say anything when I am reading through certain journals, but feel more confident giving advice, or relaying information I learned, when reading another beginner's journal. It'll come to us in time, my friend. Yeah, man, I can't wait to roll her up n smoke her. I've heard she's a good high, n is tasty too!

Yo what up man! I don't have much to contribute or help ya out right now, but the experts are keeping ya going! So I'm just watching, observing, and learning! Overall looking good dude. I'm interested to see how your scrog turns out. I've wanted to get an idea of how the plant grows before I attempt something like training or scroging. So kudos to you for doing a scrog on your first grow. Looks like its going to be a cool outcome!

Wzup, BubbleK?! Thanks for the kudos, my man. I'm pretty much flying by the seat of my pants with the scrog, but I figured I might as well spend my first go round trying things and screwing 'em up, so I will have a better handle on 'em in my future grows. One of the things I've learned on here is it can pay off for those who decide to step out of their comfort zone, and try new things, so I been trying a little leaf tucking, some LST, and, of course, the SCRoG. Hopefully it turns out all good. [emoji57]

Excited to see how it goes dude :)

Day 37
I'm starting to think that I may have waited a bit too long to put her under the net, because she hasn't showed too much vertical growth in the past few days, and the net is far from being filled out. I think I will give her a flush today, with a light dose of veggie nutes, and if nothing changes, start in with the bloom nutes when I feed her next. I thought I'd get at least another week of growth from her, but it's all good. Live and learn, right? Anyhow, here's pics from yesterday. Take a look, and if anything jumps out at you that I may have missed, let a brother know! You know the deal. Any constructive criticisms, helpful tips, and advice is always welcome. Y'all stay cool, and be eazy. [emoji111]

I was thinking the same thing yesterday TGB but didn't want to say anything to discourage you. I think you will still get some stretch out of them but probably not enough to do what you are looking for. I have never scrogged autos because they are difficult to know where your going to end up at. With photos you can keep vegging until you have the screen full, with autos you are at the mercy of the plant as to how much it is going to veg. You picked a good one because DP autos are known to get big and maybe she will fill out for you as she continues to grow. Like you said though, it is all a learning experience. The next time you grow it you will know where you need to be.

Looking great dude, ye my 2 cents just give her another week of veg nutes, see how she responds than its flower power time! Are you flushing to correct an issue or just doin it just cuz?

Wzup, A4. Good to see you stopping through, bro. I think after I am done with this TD, I will give it another run before I try something else, and, like you said, the next grow I will know where I need to be. The feed schedule, height of the net, the beginning PH of the soil... those are just a few things I will correct to improve the final result. Now that I am FINALLY past that stage where I freak out about every slight little change, I've taken on the attitude that this first grow won't turn out perfect, but I can turn it into a perfect learning scenario, so that's what I'm doing. I was so caught up in making sure that my first grow turned out as successful as other first grows I've seen on this site, (don't worry, Trap and Medi, I'm not gonna name names!) that it was making the whole experience just as stressful as it is enjoyable.

TGB, remind me of your Cal/Mag situation again? I'm just wondering about some of the light discoloration on those fans up top...not a huge deal.
As to the scrog screen, hey man, if that's the issue you're dealing with, then that's a great thing because it has nothing to do with plant health and it
means that the vertical growth is almost done and it's following on track. It's nice and dense and healthy! I think there is one more/last stretch in her
though...;)

There are worse problems....I certainly know first hand, about running out of vertical room and scrambling to make it STOP growing up.

Def looks like she can use some N asap. I don't think I'd flush with a deficiency showing unless it got worse. Strange how the tips of the yellow leaves show a little nute burn and now it's deficient... But thankfully it happens to only a few leaves rather than the whole plant, she tells you exactly what she needs :-)
