Just a thought, GB, I like splitting my feed schedules so every watering has a dose in it. So if I water twice a week, it's two half doses, instead of one big one. That lets me tweak things... a little more here, a little less there, and if I'm going too hot maybe just some cal/mag or a shot of molasses in pH'ed water.
That's the cool thing about growing, Brother. No one way is the only way. Like my Nana used to say, "Don't be afraid to take that thing out and play with it". Oh, wait, that wasn't granny....
I've had great luck using GA's pH chart to figure out where I need to be:

Rough Calculation Guide:

Here's some good info on ph.....
If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

This post is worth quoting just so people might read it again! I've also started to feed a little every time instead of feed day, water day. My ph is above 7 from the tap so if I add a little every time, I don't need ph down or anything else. I've been feeding nutes on feed day and micros/worm castings/calmag on "water" days. I will be doing this on my photo run I just started and hoping for good results!

Hey bandit, I've started reading your journal and I have to say its helping me tremendously, and your setup is incredible, I think I would like to build something similar one day because, lets face it, bud tents aren't the prettiest things.

The plants are coming along great, and im glad to see you have fixed the temp troubles you were having near the start. My first grow has just broke ground and ive been having similar problems, albeit not as drastic as yours!

Still trying to catch up, theres a lot of information here!

The idea of drowning your plants in more feed than they could eat in several days time doesn't make a lot of sense when compared to how they do it in nature.

Thank you, EOF. At one point, a few days ago, I was kind of losing hope, thinking she had hit the point of no return. Everyone kept telling me she'd be back, but it was hard for me to imagine that happening, but you guys were right, man! These plants are resilient, and I think that seeing it first hand was a good lesson for me. As you can see from my journal, the whole "it takes a village to raise a child" thing rings true in my plant's case, because, since day 1, so many people from the AFN family are the reason she has even made it to this point

Thanks, Medi. It may take a lot longer for me than it does for others, but the info is slooowwwly sinking in, bro. I'm learning, man, I'm learning. And the confidence levels are up a bit, after surviving that rough patch her and I went through. I'm getting there, bro. Albeit slowly, I'm getting there.

Yeah no worries man, finally caught up now, its definately getting exciting! I'll definately be interested to see how your scrog goes, I'm in two minds about building one myself, but seeing as this is my first grow I feel I should have a bit of experience of how the plant grows naturally before I start manipulating it

Hey man. Hope all is well with you. I grow td before and she grow by herself, I just gave them food and never had a problem. Or my tent was overcrowded coz I was dreaming if I put a lot of them I would get a lot of weed. It went ok but hey, it was full and the smoke... mmm very nice. Really man, it's a fantastic smoke I wish u gonna be as happy with her as I was/am. You've got some friendly growers around to give a helping hand if needed. I am still very fresh but so i dont feel comfortable to give advices but I will sub up and watch you and your lady kick ass and to read and learn myself. Have a great day.
