New Grower Hope She's Gentle. It's My First Time! - Think Different

Agreed!

The biggest, most powerful light source in the galaxy? Yeah...she liked it. (Leaf Erection)
The key is just keeping it at the right distance away from the canopy ;)

Good progress! ...and I know you're excited....but, tucking won't be needed for another 3 weeks or so ;) You don't really have any overlap yet. :)

Great Energy, though!

I'd like to see that high temp down around 85ºF though....not a deal breaker but it will slow her down a bit. Sub-90º is acceptable. :)

Yea that temp is high. I'm starting to think thats what part of my problem was too.

We're all just paying it forward man, it's what makes this place great!

Yes it is!

If everything goes as planned today I should be cutting a hole in the side, near the bottom, for some passive intake later on today. I'm hoping that will drop me down a few degrees. If not... well, I hope it does because I'm not sure what else I can do.

Yeah, the temps have been giving me fits! Hopefully I'll have that issue squared away soon enough, though

Day 15
Height: 5"
Temp Range: 80.2° - 90.3°
Humidity Range: 33% - 51%

Well, making the update later than usual due to a busy and fun day with the family, but it's cool though. My little lady isn't gonna be little too much longer! She grew a full inch over night, and her leaves seem to be getting bigger every time I look at her! Looking at some pics of other TD trees has me excited as hell about what I'm getting myself into! Jayar, you know I'm talking about you! LOL! Well, finally got a hole cut in the side of the cab for some more passive intake, so hopefully that gives me a nice drop in temp, so I won't have to worry about that issue so damn much. I'm sure it will make a difference, but how significant, I don't know. Hopefully very significant. We'll see. Also got the chance to start putting together my scrog screen so I won't have to do a last minute use rush job when she's ready for it, which I'm guessing will be soon, at the rate she's been growing these past few days. Just gotta string it, and I'm dun dun! Well, that's about it for now.

Haha I appreciate the love brother :bump: Looks like a good intake, should help some.

haha nice hole! hopefully it helps.

4sho! Gotta give props where props are due, my man! After checking out those buds you were showing off, I got all kinds of excited! Looks like you're gonna be smoking good real soon!

haha nice hole! hopefully it helps.

Why did that sound so naughty?! LOL! The temps are averaging a few degrees lower from what I been seeing, but when it cuts off for half n hour, every 2.5 hours, it does climb back up into the low 90's, but soon as the fan cuts back on, it drops back down to the low 80's, and at night, as low as the mid 70's

It seems as if her growth rate is speeding up a bit. Actually a lot, as she grew over an inch last night. Will post some pics later, but for right now, gotta go to a party that I could really care less about. Yay.

Doing well TGB , Your lady doesn't seem to be suffering in the current conditions so I'm betting you'll be fine!!

Day 16
Soil PH: 6.8 (after watering)
Height: 5.75" (not at leaf tip's highest point. At top leaf's base)
Temp Range: 76.8° - 92.5°
Humidity Range: 37% - 51%

Soil was getting a bit dry, so I gave her 2 liters of water, PH'd at 6.2. Afterwards, soil PH was reading high (6.8), and so was the run off (6.6). This definitely bothered me.
She's definitely been gaining plenty of height over the past few days, and she's also got a smell to her. It's not an extra loud, funky smell, but there is obviously a smell coming off her, and I like it! Not able to really describe it right now, but I'm sure it will become much more distinctive in the weeks to come. Decided to run the exhaust fan with no breaks until I check her tomorrow, just so I can get a true temp range without the in line fan taking a 30 minute break every 2.5 hours.

LOL!!!!! The worrying bit is starting to subside, isn't it? That looks terrific man.....:)

RE:pH - You are in range....small adjustments are all that's needed....you'd much rather be at 6.8 than 5.4.....

Small, incremental changes....maybe buffer down to 6.0 instead of 6.2...that sorta thing. ;)

If you need to give the fan a break, do it during the coolest part of the day

Good work, man!
