Indoor HM's Vision Northern Lights Grow Journal

That was a great idea I take it the lady bugs have no effect on the plants
Yeah, the way I understand is that the ladybugs will eat the thrip, aphid, mite, etc, until there is not enough food left and they begin to die of starvation. Over half of the ones I turned loose now lay dead on the floor of the tent. Many still scouring the plants, so I believe everything is going good. The plants are looking good. After the flush, the NL pH is back up to 6.5 and I am looking for some serious bud swell the next couple weeks, then nothng but water until harvest. This grow has been a bit of a challenge, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel and she is going to produce excellent.

Wow, sorry it's been so long between updates. This is my catch up post.

4/19/16 - Day 74
pH via A8 = 5.2. Gave 5 ml/L FloroKleen and let set six hours, then put her in the bath tub and gave her a 10 gallon flush followed up by 2 liters of 2 ml/L Bloom A&B and CalMagic, 5 ml/Gallon MicroBlast, and 1 ml/L B52, Bud Candy, Overdrive, Big Bud, and Rhino Skin. Adjusted pH to 6.3 and ppm to 1100. Gave her an application of Captain Jacks Brew, let everything dry good and turned loose ladybugs.

4/22/16 - Day 77
pH via A8 = 6.6
Fed 5 liters of 2 ml/L Bloom A&B and CalMagic, 5 ml/G MicroBlast, 1 ml/L Bud Candy, Overdrive, B52 and Rhino Skin. ppm 1100, pH 6.3
Very little runoff. Will increase volume next feeding to get more runoff to help keep medium clean.

4/24/16 - Day 79
Fed 8 liters of 2 ml/L Bloom A&B and CalMagic, 1 ml/L B52, Rhino Skin, Overdrive, and Bud Candy.
Things are progressing nicely.

Here are some pics of my Cash Crop Day 45. She is 23 inches tall and about 24X24 wide. Still stretching over an inch a day. Running out of head room, I may have to switch her to bloom nutes early to try to slow her down.

4/26/16 - Day 81
Fed 6 liters, 2 ml/L Bloom A&B, CalaMagic, Bud Candy; 1 ml/L B52, Rhino Skin, Overdrive. ppm 1100 pH 6.3; Good amount of runoff.

4/29/16 - Day 84
Starting to drink less and less, she must be starting to mature.
Fed 4 liters same mix as 4/26/16.

She is starting to get heavy. Really no sign of any leaf yellowing yet, maybe just starting a touch.

The Cash Crop is getting really tall. I've bent her main cola over and holding her down to try to gain some headroom. Also had to switch positions with the Northern Lights because the carbon filter was blocking raising that light any higher and NL fit under the filter perfectly. Since bending over the main, the side branches have all caught up and a very nice canopy has developed. I wish I had a bigger tent, this girl would be huge if I could use two lights to draw the sides out! She has got to be about done stretching as old as she is, I hope so, I so need a taller tent. Five feet just makes things hard.

The cash crop has grown a nice even canopy for sure I'm so glad the pest problem is away it's going to be nice yeild from both

The ladybug treatment is great!! I wouldn't want the ladybugs to die though:sadcry: Both plants look really fantastic but you go to hand it to the NL. She had been through two infestations and keeps on truckin. She looks like she is going to have a high yield despite the problems. I think this is a hearty strain that can roll with the punches which is perfect for a beginner like myself.
