New Grower Hey all, first grow

@DMHeights thanks amigo I appreciate it :biggrin:3oz per plant would be a happy yield for me that would last me soo long :smoking:
I think I would be happy with 2 per for first grow so anything above that is icing on the cake

@Machamillion thanks dude I was against going lower than 24” right now but wanted some other opinions, can rest a bit easier now :d5:

Another quick question while
I remember...
Should I have my oscillating fan on longer than 10-20 mins per hour or so at this young i was concerned about wind burn but want stem strength so seeking advice on it to be sure.

Thanks troops, stay tuned and happy growing!
Bill.

@Illini4life lol it’s good to know I’m not bonkers then, my mate said I went overboard for my first grow but I want it to be awesome so I put in the effort like I do with everything else, you get out what you put into it in my opinion.
I whipped through more of your journal last night and those girls look mighty fine in veg what I’m seeing so far is amazing dude, looking forward to catching up with the rest tonight
:smoking:
If i pull 1.5 lbs on my first run i will be one happy chappy amigo, busting out the victory dance
:vibe::rofl:

@AutoMania10 Thank you dude I was thinking lower it a bit today now that all my ladies are above soil but wasn’t sure yet, lowered down to 60-62 now, trying to master VPD so that I understand the stomata and transpiration better but not had much time for research the last couple
Of days so definitely much appreciated bud and thanks for following my first grow :d5:

@wetwood @Machamillion
Cheers troops much appreciated, I hope I live up to the expectations

Will update on the girls very soon, all above soil anyway 10/10 success with just one runt due to stuck seed cap but all good now thanks to a cotton bud and lukewarm water
Thanks everyone and happy growing!
Bill.

Lol I agree 1000%. If you don't put in work you won't get results. Simple as that! Lol seed cap stuck on there? Flick that b off lol. All I ever do. Next day she will open up and be just fine :smoking: typically you will have a damaged cotyledon, your first rounded leaves, because shell sticks to it. Everything will be all good though as long as main stem is still intact!

@Illini4life she is looking much better already, I was worried a little about her but not anymore  gonna champ it right alongside her sisters now lol

@Machamillion I was hoping that was the case, I want those stems strong plus can’t hurt the air circulation right :d5:thanks again bud much appreciated

@AutoMania10 Nice one amigo that’s a handy little range guide, appreciate it, can’t get enough information at this stage :thanks:

Thanks again troops, cracking community here, cheers!
Happy growing!

The grow is starting off great:thumbsup:
We've all scoured the far reaches of the internet for info haha, it certainly pays off though:smoking:
Following this one, I'm thinking 3oz a plant and with the knowledge you gain off the first run you'll blow by the 1.5lbs from here on out:cheers:
Oh yeah with your setup 1.5 pounds is definitely doable! I bet you could double or triple that with your room and amount of plants! As for air flow I have mine on constantly I just angle the fan to blow over them until they at least get to the second or third node even

Apologies for the lack of updates this weekend troops it’s been one hell of a weekend but at least my ladies seem to be doing well so that keeps me happy

So this is Day 5 since they all came above soil.
Gave them around 250ml each today of water with root juice at 1ml per 1litre, in a ring around the seedling, will up to 2ml root juice next watering I think...
My ph strips arrived today and ph’d my water at 6.5 after sitting for 24 hours, didn’t seem to change after root juice so pretty happy with that even though it’s probably not 100% accurate but I can’t afford a good ph pen yet, so I guess that will be ok and hopefully the microbes will keep me in check lol
Temps holding about 78f and humidity 55% with lights on and 75f lights off.
Not much else to report for now, pretty happy so far seems to be going well :headbang:

More updates soon, stay tuned guys and happy growing!
Bill.

so far, so good & jus remember, all construction at this point is happenin underground ;) i.e. don't go overwatering jus cuz it "seemz" they're not growing, lol :smokeit: ppp

@420Forever thanks bud, just trying to keep myself from making stupid errors so I appreciate it very much, I can see why people would want to keep watering to make sure their babies are “healthy” :d5:
after that watering today gonna wait 2 days then a finger dig to check if dry under the soil, if not then ill wait a little more, try let that root system build up strong.
Thanks again bud all info always welcome and appreciated
Happy growing!
