New Grower Hey all, first grow

Hello everyone, I already done a post in live introductions so I will get straight to the fun stuff

For my first grow I decided to go with Gorilla Glue autos from Fastbuds, they are germinating as we speak!
I have my tent setup today, now just tweaking temps/humidity and settings timers so everything is ready to rock n roll.
I will try to list and document whenever I can to try and help other first time growers like myself and also so it will be easier for me to seek help when/if necessary, thanks!

Here’s the stuff I will use:
•6’x6’x6’ “epic grow tent”
•Mars hydro tsl2000 (will add another light for flowering)
•Rhino pro “acoustic ducting” filter kit, flexible silencer and varispeed fan controller
•11litre pots(drilled with holes all over) and saucers x10
•5’ tube heater on thermostat for those cold nights
•Cheap humidifier
•Gorilla Glue auto seeds from Fastbuds x10
•oscillating fans x2
•watering can 5litre
•Clear Plastic cups x10
•sprayer bottle 1litre
•measuring pipettes .5ml
•biobizz nutrients (fish mix, grow, bloom, Alg-a-mic and root juice)
•biobizz light mix soil with perlite 100litres
•calcium carbonate and Epsom salts
•temperature/humidity sensor
•temperature gun
•bungee cords (hanging filter kit)
•pipe cleaners (low stress training)
•extension cables/wheels/bars
•digital timers x2 (one for lights and extractor, one for night fan and tune heater)
•measuring tape, scissors, duct tape
•fire alarm (optional but advised, sends text to my phone if it goes off)

I will upload some photos soon and keep updated as much as I can

allways more shit to add,7 years in and my list is getting longer not shorter theres the must haves list,the would be nice optionals list,and the luxury items list
first grow is just about getting to the end with some buds sit back,watch and learn from the plant,leave the lst,topping,fimming and shit to grow 2, or 4

did the same
the extraction should be 24/7.have mine on a speed controller for winter.
i dont want to tell you to buy more shit....but but but

didnt see a ph pen ?

bargain at £6 junk cant trust it even 5 mins after calibrating.ph pen ya need to spend £60 to get a propper one.

£1 down from £3 as i walked past in B&Q i should have kept walking again its junk.
best 99p i ever spent

@archie gemmill haha I can only imagine, I’ve been trying so hard not to buy stuff as already went so much over budget and just keep seeing more stuff I want
Cheers amigo I was wondering about those cheap pens but ended up getting some water testing ph strips to at least read the ph of my water before nutes and attempt after adding nutes although colour might mess with it I know, I’m hoping with my soft water and biobizz soil I’m gonna be good on that front but will hopefully soon know more, strips should be here tomorrow.
So far I’ve been leaving the water out for 24+ hours to let the chlorine out but never thought to boil with it being soft water here.
Glad I didn’t buy one of those soil testers too then haha, was still considering one though so saved me some cash there, cheers
Good shout on the microscope for bugs or whatever else, I forgot that one thanks man it’s been ordered!

you look pretty much set there and i know the costs mount up fast i just normally try not let my wife see my spends but shes on the ball

chiming in another trick for water is to get a cheap lil air pump & stone & bubble it for 24 hrz and me thinkz archie'z micro is most likely for checkin trichz & not so much bugz ppp

@St. Tom Thanks Tom I’m just glad I’ve kept my spending hush hush or could’ve been some problems caused haha.
I’m happy it's all set now though and I can get started and add to it slowly over time if necessary.
And if anyone asks it was half what I payed
@420Forever oh yeah to see if they are amber/cloudy, I get you.
I’ve read somewhere recently about that same idea with the air stone, something about the water having more oxygen and being better for the roots growth, I reckon I will do just that, cheers amigo that’s some solid info.
