New Grower Hermaphordite report

When people say that I am spot on I just get worried. I am the most not spot on person on the site. Old crank that has to do it his way until I get hit of the head with a fencepost - that is me in spades.

Nelson is spot on, genotype + enviroment = phenotype

lol whenever somebody says I hit the nail on the head it amazes me too. you might be getting to old to smoke around fence posts

"Your too old to smoke around fenceposts" wow is that ever a good line for a blues song. Let the smart people interpert what it means. I love it.

Howdy Nelson: My Pandora flipped and did so on the sly. I had been checking periodically, but did not recognize the change because it was producing lots of trichs. There is a bud pic in photos section. It was growing with a La Diva (an Attitude freebie). The Pandora took off quickly but under LED did not get as tall as those with the high light output. The seed bank mentioned 24/0 finish in x days for the La Diva; as a consequence, I put LED on for 24/0 thru mid-flowering. At that point, I had PH problems and noticed growth slowing and plants didn't seem to be responding well to light scheme. I switched to 20/4. The soil I used was Roots Org. It is now going to be used in outside garden. It is full of cow manure and super high in N and a PH in the mid 4s. During flowering, I mixed my own organic teas very light, but, after now looking at the soil composition it was not a good choice, nor, would standard nutes like the FoxFarm Tri. The Pandora pot ( 3 gallon) was light compared to the La Diva. After harvest, I looked at roots and they were both healthy and spread out nicely. After it dried and I was cutting the buds a seed popped out of an older growth bud. The seed was huge compared to its own. I noticed the new growth had some immature development going on. I have it curing and it looks better than the La Diva. The La Diva is a complete loss. Something was amiss with it early on. It was a slow grower and only began to put on the trichs late. I will snap a photo for you before I dump it--it is curing and has a not so good aroma. I have not found any seeds but will dig in and let you know if it does. The La Diva was female all the way. I could not find any signs of a change and it was the one I was most concerned about. My research on the net shows some growers having Pandora hermies. If you have any other questions let me know--anything to help you with your project. BTY--I have new soil and new nutes and just about ready to start up again. No "cow manure"--the lesson to self---always reread the list of ingredients. Lastly, I flushed 12 days prior to harvest with total grow time of 10 1/2 weeks.

Hey thanks Alan very interesting indeed. Do you think it was a seed fault or a stress related problem?
