Fruit Juice was a Herme

I was skanning my Carousel Room that is where I keep my Photos that are getting ready for their year outside when Spring springs forth. I found a Fruit Juice that had both sexes on it.

I thought every time we get one of thee we should report it so I am starting this thread to just that with. It is thefrist one I found this year. I had one last year also. Maybe I will report it in next post if this is popular.

There can aways be some good reason for this to happen with stress or me getting CS on my finger tips and touching another plant. It may be that the type is prone so we can watch for others who have had the same problem with the same type.

If this should be moved to another section in any Mods opinion go ahead and move it.

Hi guys. Last summer I grew some Flash Santa and one hermied. I thought it might have been due to high temps, which were a problem for me during that whole grow. It happened late on, after I had already hit the plant with some Blue Himalaya pollen so I grew out a few of the seeds. Temps were under control this time but two of my four females hermied.

: ( I threw away the rest of the seeds - a pity coz the cross made a lovely smoke. Maybe try it again sometime. Any one else ever found hermies among their Santas?

Great idea Nelson. I've only ever had 1 hermie and that was in some Blue Himalayan I was testing for Jim at Dope-Seeds last year. He had gotten a couple reports from some growers and asked myself and a few others to test grow some for him. Soon as I told him he pulled them from stock. There were quite a few auto strains about 2 years back that had problems but those seed banks seem to have gotten it sorted out. Haven't heard of any auto hermies in a long time.

The Fruit Juice that is a Blueberry X White Widow cross. Put out by a couple different people the seeds I am talking about were from Zambia or something like that. They were available from a bunch of different common seed sellers.

You are so right I should have taken pictures of it for sure before I ripped it apart today. Usually they have a typical female flower on the top and the rest of the flowers look a little wierd and near the stalk you can usually see some of the typical hanging balls.

How do u tell this are there any pics on this....how about how to determine sex at all,I'm just curious and want some brain food

ahh ok I thought you was talkin bout Fruity Chronic juice..I bought these last year to do a lil sum sum and didnt get around to it thought I was gonna have to deal with hermies...a lil relief..but still not outta the water.
