Whats good? I've been looking into starting to grow and I wanted to try out the auto flowering seeds first and see how it goes. But could anybody please help me with acknowledging myself of growing with autos first?

such as: What are the specific things I need? (soil, pots, lights, etc. etc.)
Also, best ways to get the most during the yield?

Basically any other good ass tips I could use or anything.

Please?

And there are a ton of other grow journals and threads on all the different lights and techniques. There is also a section for diagnosing plant problems at the Infirmary

Basically just take a tour around. You will find a wealth of knowledge. With that being said, don't be afraid to ask us questions. Good luck sir.

Damn, well I will for sure going to look into that, and thank you for welcoming to AFN, this place is pretty tight!

welcome!! when i started i found that a 250 or 400w hps worked best as hps will grow/flower and provide heat in colder areas, sheet a space or get a tent, i started with a 250, small sheeted space, 5 fem autos and the cannabis bible(check my threads for pdf of this on this site as well as other good reads, to start i would suggest normal soil,250 or 400 hps, 5 fems and soft feed, as you learn the plants and enviroment then use more/different lights, look into hydro/pebbles etc, but ease to start a 250 or 400w hps as these can be got complete with bulb ballast and shade for £65 quid on ebay, some pots, good compost and 5 only, as you learn you will get to know tricks! check out the growers bible here

its all about experience, hps are the cheapeast way to start with soil, i still use this set up, tho i use 4 400 now and a larger room, but thats from experience, know your plants first, watch then , research any issues on here, anyone will help we are all here for knowledge. but a cheap hps, sheet and seeds for 5 will be around 100 quid set up, expect 1oz a plant if chosen correctly, diesel ryder or any jointdoctor good starters as they are stable, need little attention and can take abuse if you get it wrong without dying!!

happy smoking, check the e book above, also downloadable free from extratorrent where im sharing!

happy growing and welcome, never be afraid to ask!1000s of minds are better than one and no one in this family judges, newbie or vetran

Could you inform me on what CFL's are and what HPS stands for? I'm sorry I'm really new to this and I just want to learn as much as I can before.
I kinda plan on someday going beyond autoflowering...
