Hello, I'm new to the site but not new to autos. When I first started growing a scoured the web looking for help with autos a found a lot of people who didn't know what they where talking about, then I found autoflower.net. It tried to join but by either user error or other i couldn't get past the referred to by part.even tried writing the moderator. Then tried again a couple of days ago and here I am! Great to be here around people who know what their talking about.
But as in the title I REALLY need all the help i can get. I've taken out a loan to get every thing I need to grow for some family members who are living on borrowed time, and chemos killing them. Really. I read about run from the cure and so me being me I've jumped in with all ive got, hell whats money or debt to save a loved one when their only option is chemo or die. Any advice or recipes on edibles, oils would really help. So again I really need y'all's help.
Here's what I need help with. My wife's 100% behind me and I can either convert a room for growing or buy a tent? 1000w dimmable hps or led? Ro water or buy mineral water. Ro water scares me because I don't know what all to add and when to add or anything like that. NO HYDRO. I will only grow in soil. Ive desided to go with 5 gallon equivalent air pots, or is there some thing better? What am I missing? I've seen what some of yall are capable of and I need your help, please. It takes a lot to make ricks oil, and time is not on my side. Any help is much appreciated. P.s. I live in colorado and also need advice on how to become a care giver. My mom is willing to help by getting her card.

Welcome nam, much respect for wanting to help loved ones. I would recommend starting in a tent, easier to control environment. Many different concentrations can help people.I have made a very safe olive oil extract that in just a few drops can provide pain relief. Forgive me I am on mobile and cannot provide link but its here on AFN. Ask questions people here want to help.

Welcome to AFN bud! From what I gather its best to do allot of research and see what is best for your space, conditions and budget. I'm pretty sure if you post as much info as you can as to how much space you have to work with and budget exc. One of the senior members would be glad to assist you. The room I'm thinking about taking over is 8x8x8. I'm looking at growing around 12-15 plants once I have enough red cards to grow for. I'm looking to spend around 250 on the light. Seeing how the air pots are going to cost me 120 for 12 it cuts in to the budget a little. I've heard about co2 buckets, what do yall think? Anyway thanks for the help! @ rebelroy isn't coco a form of hydo? Having to use ro water scares me because I have 0 knowledge about it. I've been growing in soil awhile, so it would take a lot to get metro change now, and I want to try to stay as organic as possible. But I've seen some of the members here's photos while using it and ill research it, if its better then ill go that way. And thanks again!

Hi Nam, welcome to the forums

It's a lovely thing you're doing for your loved ones.
Like rebelroy, I would not rule out coco. I use it like a soil grow, hand watering - the only thing that's different really is what you Ph your feed to each watering. I've had more success with coco previously being a soil grower.

If you we're to go down the coco route, I suggest picking up a premium coco like canna coco plus - it's ready for use right from the bag without the need to do anything.

you wil need a ph/ec meter to messure u`r feed, thats the only thing different i think

im growing in coco now, without ph/ec meter, and like blue, im handwatering (shame on me!) but i`ve been very lucky. feel free to go in and look at my grow and see how easy my setup is :smokebuds:

think its because of the great water we got here in Norway, i not been having trouble with ph/ec
