Soil Soil Soil , This is going on 5 months old , I have 8 pots at 27 liter un the room now and will be seeding Saturday . So what do I have in it , First up around 10 kg of fish frames , skin and guts , -- Insect frass I have a 29 liter bucket of which I got from a big pile of wood chip from work , so there is a bout 2 liters sprinkled in -- Powdered Sea bird Guano which I grind up in a coffee grinder -- Dried worm poo , again powdered in grinder and a good source of minerals -- Seaweed powdered form , As I am building I water with molasses to keep the soil moist . and as I can get a lot of bananas I have been adding it to the top of the soil to give the worms a bit of desert Got ta look after the little buggers , And guys nothing is weighed the ratios are just what I think is needed . I am a lazy grower I do not like mucking around when it comes time to grow the plants , I will add things when needed , but my external input is limited NPK wise . mostly teas of some kind . On another subject - Rain - by the end of this month we will have had close to 3 meters of rain for the season .

@Bob's Auto's No we do not collect the water , We are in a rental property , When we get our own again will be collecting rain water .

Ok guys here we go , but first up I had a bit of a mishap , I had 3 seedlings get eaten by a grasshopper that snuck in while I was away , lucky a small one that got in because I left the opening unzipped due to the fact the wife yelled out to me so I went to see what she wanted , we need more cooking gas so into town I go to get some , so 3 out of 5 I had to reseed , Bloody woman , so it was her fault not mine . So first up is @Tobe OA [ Orange Assualt S8 ] she is 3 weeks old and in a hurry full on flowering , reseeds are at 2 weeks

Now the reseed at 2 weeks , The small one is due to over watering .

Now this one @BCBudlady was kind enough to seed me some seeds , I needed something for sleep , which I don't get much of , but I recon this one will do the trick , Anvil Auto , It is the first time I have grown such a heavy % Indica , she gona be big and has just shown sex ,

Pots are 27 ltr , - Soil - so far very happy with the way it is going , only pond water at this stage , I have played around with the soil and I upped the inputs ,Powdered Sea Bird Guano , I like seabird for its calcium and silica levels as well as the phos , and seaweed powder and fish frames . Now I do not measure things I just add what I think , Started low and have been working my volumes up over the years , Microbes play a big part , Insect frass - worms and worm castings I gather locally , Coconut water - Molasses - Humic acid - Fish pond water all play a part as well . Age of soil , most of the time 4 months old , I strongly believe curing the soil plays a big part in it , it lets everything blend in nicely and work together , The main thing all the hard work is done , I will add NPK when and if needed , My aim is not to , but will , and then increase what is needed in the next batch of soil ,

Ohh you started the next epic OA grow together with @BCBudlady gear, I can't wait to see them in full flower and wish you the best flower and a big yield bro. I also run a few OA f8 , I hope for one or two males to make some nice F1 fastflower seeds. I got Peyote cookies (haverkamp cut) two pineapple chunk from a selected mother from my crew, a Zkittlez cut I was gifted from a pheno hunt ( my friend selected the sweetest and fastest one)

@hecno , Gnome Automatics Anvil will get humongous in 27litres! 12 liter containers produce 4foot plants. Might extend the veg. cycle by a few days too.

@BCBudlady - Oh Oh , This is going to be fun But not a problem , I have the room for her as I am only doing a small run this tine so she will have plenty of room .

Bugger , I stuffed up my soil , The problem is too much Frass , I forgot to allow for the high carbon content in the frass and as I am using Millipede Frass which has a very high content , Soil moisture retention was high , so we live and learn , what does have me wondering is the Anvil @BCBudlady is loving it and I am watering it as well , Now things like this don't bother me too much , As I do learn from my mistakes , What is funny is the little one his heading to . so I will keep her going for the fun of it
