Are you gonna defoliate that space between the nets? Remove smaller budsites and such?
Yes I will be defoliating some soon but I will be removing more from the top than between the nets. The idea is to get the light down to the lower bud sites so they will get bigger. Anything I cannot get light to will be removed. I should have flipped a week sooner they are getting too tall. The stretch is over 200% of the 16" start at flip!

What is the net for?

The nets are only being used for support. The plants easily outweigh the Hugo 6" rockwool blocks between waterings and they would topple over without support.

Day 53: Did some defoliation today. I hope the stretch is done.

Day 56 update:

They are doing awesome. All four of the Heavyweight Monster Profits are (left and center) very similar if not identical phenos and are progressing nicely. Remember there is 24"s and another support screen under the one in the pictures. The girls are about 42"/107cm tall.

Flower day 22, Day 59 update:

The 3 week flowers look right on schedule. I should have flipped to 12/12 a week sooner at 12" tall instead of 16"; these girls have more than tripled in height at over 50" tall. I had to get up on a step stool to take the overhead pictures. I still have 5 or 6 weeks to go. I will plant some really fast autos to get back on schedule for the second leg. So far these plants Heavyweight Monster Profit and Zambeza Blue Brilliants have been easy to grow and they like the H&G nutrients at full strength on the H&G feed chart. I had to supercrop the Blue Brilliant in the rear when she reached almost 60". I cannot raise the lights on that side of the space any higher due to the filter can. I may try to rework the filter's position in the future.
