Extraction Hash. Tips, pics and whatever.

Decided to make some dry sift from my last grows leftovers. Gave away most of it but still had quite a bit, I don't smoke at the moment (yet) and I didn't want it to get nasty.

Here's what I used: White Widow and GSC

It's super cold here (Alaska) so I don't buy dry ice. I just go outside and smoosh it up good over my trim bin and throw it in the bags. Since I don't use dry ice, I add some clean cold rocks for agitation.

Used 73 micron and 140 micron. Didn't get much with the 73, heads must be bigger. Most was in the 140

71 grams of 140 and 6 grams of 73. Pressed most of it but decided to roll a couple temple balls :eyebrows:

Excellent work man. I definately dig the au-natural use of ice and stones, and although I envy your ice production I do not think I would survive Alaska weather for long.

Just a lil guy, but these are so fun to make, and my preferred method of extracts, don’t get me wrong me likes the dabs and those types of extracts too, but making hashish/ hash is an art that’s becoming less common, and I’m not even from the era of hashish

You can save bud it don't go bad it just ages if you put in fridge well stay fresh the cold it will slow down aging process. You can freeze and will stay same forever. My 2cents.

Cheers for those shots, I can never get enough. Can I ask if you use any particular plasic for the bottle pressing? I have real problems with it sticking or splitting on me, although I'm probably being too heavy handed with it.

You are definately correct in making good hash mate, it is a skill that takes time and effort, and if you persist you can make something really special.

My mates usually crap themselves when I bring out my homemade & a good pipe, as it is lights out. For some of them it is the only time they have ever seen hash, barring film & TV.
