Hello all - did a hash run last week, pretty good, a touch over 30g when dry and most was fresh frozen buds. Anyway, I hate the boittle method, i feel it takes too long and creates wastage, so following on from
@Smoking Frog technique using the dab press to essentially decarb the hash.
I kept the dab press at 90deg, and never pressed fully down, just enough to flatten the ball (I tested on a small bit). The bubble came from a 73 bag, and being fresh frozen doesnt turn black but gets a nice golden colour.
I ran it inside teh same parchment I use for pressing rosin and it ket things very clean and no loss to the plastic.

There are still some unbroken heads in there so will give it another few presses and roll it back in to a temple ball.
Anyway, as it works, I will go and run all the other patties now then set aside to cure for a few months to get a nice shell on.

Edit: forgot to add, I pressed it about 30 times, and folded it in quarters as per the picture after every press.
