Extraction Hash. Tips, pics and whatever.

Strange stuff here!

I just finished with some hash squishing and gathered 3 grams of rosin. I put it in the silicon jar and then into the decarb aluminum capsule and decarbed in the press @ 240*F for 30min.
I let the press and capsule cool to room temp with pressure still on.. It gives the little pop when I slowly relieve the pressure. I pop the top to look at the results and they look like the last.
I sat the bottom half of the jar on my marble collection plate..........actually a candy/chocolate board being repurposed.

I guess it was a good thing I let the top off for a while.. I guess the carbon dioxide couldn't escape during the decarb. Should I have stirred it after popping the top to let the CO2 out? I carefully stirred it with my tiny dab tool and it was fine. 3g is the max for that jar.

I am unsure that why to use the vibrator. I think it is used by the females to get the immense pleasure.

This is just a variation of a vibrating screen. A small vibrator, whether made for sex or otherwise, such as maybe a hand sander might be used with very large screens, dropped or pressed onto the screen vibrates the screen quickly up and down, makes the material 'dance' and bounce. What takes 5-15 minutes of manual sifting with a card or brush take be equivalently or even better (with less disturbance of the material; less manual pushing around) done in a minute or less.

Well, I cracked my first temple ball yesterday. ...........8-9 months old.

JESUS! I didn't expect for it to be that damn good in taste and smell! I vaped it first in my Evolve vape and it hit hard as hell! Two hits and I was totally baked 5 min later and it went from there! And that was a very small chunk!

Gotta question.
I made 5 dry ice runs of fresh frozen last night. I got over 40g of really nice hash. I didn't shake super long. I was after quality.

Would it be worthwhile to decarb and infuse the ran material to get the remaining goodness? I have the material drying in the grow room with a fan on the material to dry it.

Or would long ethanol freeze and soak work better and then evap??
Just trying to get some meds from what might be there and the taste is not all that important.

I would have it in that Ardent to decarb & then do the alcohol evap. That should catch anything remaining.
