Extraction Hash. Tips, pics and whatever.

Ohhhhh damnnnn..... So my hash is dry and I've been waiting a LONG time to smoke some good, home made hash. In fact, I wanted to vape it. So about a year ago, I made some bubble hash and a bought a Yocan Evolve Plus, on recommendation from a hash lover. I loved the vape but the hash just wasn't good enough, nor did I expect it to be, it was old trim. So I dropped it into a batch of coconut oil I'd made. I've had a smoke of hash once since then, maybe 6 months ago. So making this batch of hash was a big deal. When I first got into weed, then stumbled onto some hash, I'd buy hash before flower. I love the taste of hash!

So I just loaded the Yocan with a tiny piece of hash into it. 5 presses to turn on, then hold the button for a few seconds. And I learn, for a VERY few seconds....lol! Thought I was going to cough to death, it was as bad as a big bong rip! DAMN this this can hit! Hold the button, take a 3 second draw. Perfect! Ohhhhh the flavor!

Dammit! LOL! Was it as cheap as the HebalAire Vape you recommended and I love?

edit...........found it for $69. Do you use the ceramic or quartz coil?

I can't remember where I got it. Mine came with the quartz coils, and I just ordered the ceramic donuts. I got it on sale for $24.95 but should be able to find it around $45. I was very surprised how well made it is. The crucible is built like a vape tank, all stainless steel. I took some pics:

If it does the trick like the HebalAire, I'll sure get it. That was an outstanding recommendation. Love the flavors it gives. Vaping HBSS should be very interesting with it.
I found it for $45 and found the same model with a bigger battery with a little different design. Instead of screwing together the upper part, it's magnetic. It was to get around sticky threads that can make it harder to get apart. I might get that version.

I mutilated 20 gram of buds for the easiest and cleanest almost 4 gram I could get without more work or risk of polluting it to much, in went 1 gram of the finest grade ISO I made plus a bit extra from the spoon, 5 gram sticky ball made in the end :smoking:

Sorry for having to ask for more clarity, but I read you started with 4 grams of Kief and then mix in 1 gram of ISO, and then mix until it forms a "malleable" ball, then work it to the final product. Is this correct. TIA.

Yes, that *simple* really, it is the part of getting the sticky mess worked together properly without all of it ending up on you fingers that is the real challenge.
And obviously coming up with the pure ingredients first LOL

Silicone stir sticks etc r great, I’ll buy a multi pac diff sizes, cut em up if needed (the ball looks great you made)
I’d have a hard time aging it...
