My First Moon Rock

I know it is not exactly hash but the bud is laced with about a gram of really nice hash besides the ISO and the kief, I pretty much got the whole bud rolled/covered in oil, then I jammed all the tiny hash nuggets into it and rolled it in a gram of kief and gently pressed it a little tighter with my fingers, it's resting in the fridge now for a couple of hours
Before & After picture of the bud, forgot to take one rolled in oil.

This one isn't a keeper really, it was just a small attempt and to get a bit of practice and learning in, it probably will last a little while though because I think it will be ridicously strong :smoking:

Making a nice Moon Rock is my next little project

good luck with the moon rock. I like rolling up long skinny buds on their branch & then rolling them in shaved frozen Hash not kief, home made Thai sticks...

Made my first Temple Ball today, well almost Temple Ball, it's ISO and Kief mix rolled into this lovely 5g ball

Can I ask you what proportion of ISO did you use to Kief? Did you just make a slurry of sorts and roll in your hand until all the ISO was gone? Or was it more dry and crumbly and the hand rolling brought it all together? TIA!

I used 4.5g of kief and dropped a small lump of 0.7 of ISO on top, I then used a metal teaspoon and a Stanley blade to mix it until I could roll it

My first attempt at a hash rosin squish today. I hashed 32g of Double Grape that was cured for 2 weeks and frozen in one gallon bubble bags and got back 3.6g of 45-160u (not a terrific return) after 3 washes. I froze and then microplaned the pucks onto parchment lined baking sheets, which stayed in the garage refrigerator for 48 hours. Beautiful drying! Blonde and unozidized. I haven’t measured out the rosin yet but it seems like a heavy couple grams. Pressed at 165 for 2 min after a 30 sec warmup, then again at 185 for a couple min. It’s curing now. Pictured is the first squish. Next will be WP done in 5 gallon bags once my Skywalker, 3BOG and Sour Stomper come down in a few weeks.

Ohhhhh damnnnn..... So my hash is dry and I've been waiting a LONG time to smoke some good, home made hash. In fact, I wanted to vape it. So about a year ago, I made some bubble hash and a bought a Yocan Evolve Plus, on recommendation from a hash lover. I loved the vape but the hash just wasn't good enough, nor did I expect it to be, it was old trim. So I dropped it into a batch of coconut oil I'd made. I've had a smoke of hash once since then, maybe 6 months ago. So making this batch of hash was a big deal. When I first got into weed, then stumbled onto some hash, I'd buy hash before flower. I love the taste of hash!

So I just loaded the Yocan with a tiny piece of hash into it. 5 presses to turn on, then hold the button for a few seconds. And I learn, for a VERY few seconds....lol! Thought I was going to cough to death, it was as bad as a big bong rip! DAMN this this can hit! Hold the button, take a 3 second draw. Perfect! Ohhhhh the flavor!
