New Grower Has she hermied?

:toke: Rept'-- Those are what's called the "preflowers",...the first to form only at these stem junctions by themselves; look up male flowers, you'll see that they can start out early on looking similar, but differentiate fast after that,... well before they open, male flowers will form a short stalk, and never have hairs (pistils).... These (all of them, in buds too that is) are considered bracts, not calyxes, but there's a pervasive tendency to label them as such,... all my research says the calyx is a thin transparent sheath that surrounds the ovule,...

......... As for the leaves, agreed, it's looking like N defc. (lower fans overall color fade), but maybe some P defc. starting too if it's hitting mid level as well,... purple stems can be a symptoms of P defc., but often as not it's normal color expression, so that alone isn't a good indicator of P defc.,... I'd need to see the whole plant and all the other details,.. you've been to the Infirmary, you know the drill! :coffee:

Ah, that's right, you're using Biobizz,.. mild stuff, so you should be running full strength,.... This is mostly N defc., some of which is normal at this stage, just more leaves affected than should be right now,... mild P defc. in any,.... I would get that RH% up some though, 30% is going to put her in some transpiration stress,.. keep her well watered!

:yoinks: shit-the-bed @Arthur ... that's a perfect case of WTF hermie mix-up! You have both nanners and full-on male flowers forming,... the nanners popping out of that bract is mind-f*cking... usually we see nanners only in actual bud, fully developed male flowers at the stem junctions,.... What strain is this?

Just did an "eyes on" on my girls in the tent.... this is what a hermie looks like....fuck... now thats a bummer. Shit.... sorry man, sorry for the loss. Anyway to prevent this happening? Whats the trigger?

Mephisto, four assed monkey, day 46... and yeah, full blown... dissapointed... I have another running, so I won't miss out.

 -- well goes to show, even the best get infrequent "malfunctions"!... I'd still check in with Brad/Mitch just to let them know,... I've not heard of other 4AM's doing this, but that's no measure... they will get feedback from all over, and you know those guys, good, bad indifferent: it's all vital info,....
