Can’t wait to see these things grow. My guess the roots will grow super fast being that this mix looks super light and airy. I used to work with Roxull insulation once in a while and it was itchy had to use gloves and long sleeve I always had someone else install it lol.

I can't wait either! :woody: I've worked some with insulation and always ended up with an itch. I had my hand in the bag twice with a solo cup and I know I got some on my hand, but no itch! I also noticed the little black cubes in the mix and I figure they must be a spacer of some sorts. Is that correct @coalminer ? :headbang:

Seeds have soaked for 24 hours and continuing with my normal germination practice, I have moved the seeds to an air tight container between damp paper towel, wrapped in a black plastic garbage bag and placed near the top of my grow space. I will check them tomorrow and when they have approx. 2 inch tails, I will transplant to the solo cups. I just hope its ok to let the Sim Mix soak and charge! :headbang:

Hi @Need4Weed , the black cubes are to house and encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria. They are high humidity areas within the medium that the bacteria love! They are bio-foam which is specifically designed for the bacteria to adhere to.

Also, you are fine to let the Sim Mix soak and charge until you are ready to pot up your popped seeds! Karma UP!

We have 4 healthy sprouts and all have been moved to solo cups! Only thing is, I only charged enough Sim Mix to fill 2 cups halfway. However, this is similar to way I've germed in the past. I just leave the cups in the dark and by this time tomorrow, the sprout should be near the top. I'll then back fill with Sim Mix and they'll be good to go! Speaking of which, I checked the ph of the water that held the Sim Mix and it was 6.7. Is this normal @coalminer ? I reused the water to charge more Mix, but I ph'd it back to 5.5 first! I have to get on another device to post pics, so I'll be back shortly! :headbang:
