Who's running this in an Autopot setup? I was thinking about maybe giving this a go but not sure how it will run in the 4 pot system compared to my previous coco grows.

@bushmasterar15, Growpito Sim Mix is being run in the Autopot system by @Ripper. He should be getting it started in the next week or so.

Hey guys! Sad news, as the new babies died! :nono:
I noticed a rotten smell a few days after adding additional Sim mix and I'm sure I got it too wet and they drowned! :help: I'm dropping new beans and re-thinking my approach! I hate the ideal of starting in the final pot and I have some rockwool cubes. Since both mediums are similar, I think I will try the rockwool! I also got 8 gallons of water set aside to charge the medium. I'll update as soon as there's news! :headbang:

Sounds like you over watered lad. Start your seeds with Growpito in a regular seed tray. Soak the Sim mix press it it into the tray and add your seed. No problem.

Probably don’t have to water again till after the seed pops unless it takes more then a few days??

Good thing u have more seeds. Good luck
Yeah I'm doing ok on seeds right now. I've made 3 Mephisto orders over the last 10 months, an Alibongo order, plus some I made! :woody: I've actually been able to give seeds and seedlings away this year! :vibe:

Hey @coalminer I went with the rockwool cubes. Mainly because I've used them before, but also because I had a concern using the Sim Mix. Just before adding the extra mix, (which I believe caused the over watering), I noticed a slight leaf twist which I fear was due to charging the Sim mix with my nutes. Generally, this is too soon to introduce nutrients for autoflowers as they can be way more finicky than photoperiods. I'm still using a solo cup with perlite in the bottom, but at transplant time ... I'll just plant the cube and not the whole cup! :headbang:

Last night was 24 hours of soaking for the Sim Mix, however upon checking the ph of the solution I discovered that the ph had rose to 7.0! :nono: If I remember correctly, the same thing happened with the small batch of mix I made for the solo cups. So last night I ph'd the mixture to 5.6 and 12 hours later it up to 6.4. It it normal to have ph swings like this? @coalminer please adivse! :headbang:

I got the ph to 5.7 and let it set for a few hours with the hopes of being able to pot it all up and get this show on the road .. so to speak! I've avoided watering the cubes the last 36 hours thinking they will get a good watering at transplant! However, I checked the solution and it had rose to 6.0, (which I think is somewhat better). So I ph'd it back down and now I'm waiting for the solution to stabilize. I've lost count on the amount of ph down I have used so far, but it's at least 100 ml! Also, the whole tub smells like sulfur! :gassy: but I hope that's from the beneficial bacteria! :headbang:
