Indoor Growing Scrog

I've been trying to adopt the heavy defoliation to my own grows, and either SCROG, or similar spreading with training clips and garden staples.

This is auto seeds Durban Poison.

This is a soil grow in a 13 gallon, and it's drinking a gallon 2-3 x a day. I'm sure your automatic watering system gives a more consistent supply than my hand watering, but I'm resistant to change.

Most growers rely on their crop for either income, or medicinal need for themselves or patients and the potential to screw that up limits changing whats working.

there's one more reason - space.

I would promptly go @420autoflower s way, but I have just one tent and want to have some different plants. With the 420autoflower way one plant would fill up my 1m².

remember...you underestimate the interest i think

I am getting closer. First step - 24h light schedule with a scene in my lights. And heavier than ever defol this time i think.
I am always hoping for a smaller growing threesome in my tent, really, believe me, so i can experiment. But space is filled and i definitely want to be able to take them out and move them (as long as possible).

Next will be growing just 2 plants and trying to get them scrogged out properly - perhaps if next years summer will be better here.
I simply don't dare to rely on one plant only - if something goes wrong i am futsched without a backup. It's myself who i do not trust ;-)

Believe me every time i am around day 30, just before stretch i think about "breaking" a plant up, but where to put her to serve her right.
One day I will get there! Until then I will watch the jawdropping ladies of @420autoflower and @DOA.

Cheers! :pass:
Thanks man… :pass:
I’m a true believer in heavy defoliation and as much light I can give to the plant to avoid larf.
I just half the day schwazzing a few of my plants that I was dreading but happy I finally got them done. One of them took me 3 hours to strip. :nono:
I think you would grow some nice plants to scrog out with your pyramids and automated fertigation bro. Might be a little tricky to do your main top training with the slope on the pyramids but I’m sure there’s a way to attach wire to your trays or stake the pyramid somehow. Let me know when you’re ready and we can help you get set up and make sure everything goes right for you.

Good luck with the Auto Creepers here, knowing the vigorous growth in your rooms I bet these will be quite some work the coming weeks

Damn.. what a recovery mate...!!:woohoo:

Monsters in the making!:cool1:

Lovely looking auto's all the way, btw with the Auto SFV OG I see some very thick branches, so big cola's incoming!:eyebrows:
I hope you will get close to the 1kg mark with some of these autoflowers, there are definitely a few contenders again, what do you think?

Good to see some of the growers on here are adopting your technique mate, sharing is caring right! :cooldance: although I would love to try it out one day I'm currently stuck at this organic growing thing, more so now since breeding has taken over most of my rooms.. :rolleyes1:

but I've been a passionate SCROG-grower for almost 2 decades now, there will be a time in the not too distant future I will start sharing some of my indoor and outdoor 1 plant SCROG's, I've had photoperiod plants indoor ranging from 400 to 600/700g to almost 900grams of one plant in 1x1m tent. Perfectly manicured and dried buds ofc.. but that 1kg yield from one plant indoors is still something I want to achieve one day... :lildab:

Might do a run with your Autoflower method in a 1x1m vs. 1 plant photoperiod grow in a 1x1m my organic style. Would be a cool grow to share and learn from! When I do, I will definitely hit you up in DM to discuss details

Keep the canna-porn coming mate, what a joy to watch!
Would love to see your canna porn someday buddy. I’m sure you've grown some big beautiful pants in your day. With your growing skills and experience with organics the 420 method would be a walk in the park for you.
Creepers are doing well and filling in nicely. Been worried I would run out of horizontal space but I hooked up the tent expanders and that gave me the few extra inches I needed to tuck my tips.
Four of them are 1kg contenders bro. The Indoor Auto SFV OG with the fat stems, the Auto Candy Bubatz and both Auto Critical Orange punch’s have big potential. Been spending a lot of time moving them around but really had no choice if I wanted them to finish up properly. Just got the SFV OG done today and it took me 6 hours to set up, strip and scrog her out. My back is killing me. Lol :frowny:
I’ll post a few pics to show you what I did to her.

Beautiful plants Brother. :d5:
Thanks for sharing them here.
I remember when you started with the training clips and staples last summer during the 2023 Autoseeds.com Grow&Show. Looks like you’re getting some fantastic results with them. I also use training clips when needed and they’re definitely a good little training tool.
Nothing wrong with hand watering if you have the time. I’m currently hand watering 4 of my plants and they seem to grow just as well as the plants that are hooked up to automated. I actually enjoy hand watering and think it’s kind of therapeutic. :rolleyes1:

I got lazy and never posted any dry weight results from my last indoor and outdoor run but thought I would show the plant that weighed the most. It was my Bomb Seeds THC Bomb Auto that ended up weighing in at 1737 grams or 3.87 pounds, which so far is my personal best next to the 3.5 pound Autoseeds.com Acapulco Gold I grew last summer. She was a big beautiful plant with well over 100 sticky dense top colas on her 39” canopy and took 107 days from seed to harvest. She was a pleasure to grow and responded very well to everything I did to her. Grown from a bean I had won from last years Bomb Seeds Welly Boot competition and was so happy with the way she turned out I ordered more. Bomb seeds advertises “vigorous growth” with this particular cultivar and they weren’t kidding.
