Indoor Growing Scrog

Are you going to super crop her, then lower the net ready for the first big defoil?
Yes indeed! This is what I have in my notes, from 420's posts: "Time to scrog is about 7 days after you see your first pistils. That’ll give you enough preflower time for your small/weaker nodes to grow and stack, but not too much preflower time where they’ll get too tall. If you scrog too late and don’t have enough preflower time the middle of your canopies will have a hard time filling in and might leave you with some bare spots. Best to have at least one or 2 weeks of preflower stretch under the net to create a full canopy." So ... I should wait for pistils, then another 7 days, before breaking out the pliers? The latest 420 scrog day I came across, either here or on Instagram, was Day 53, 14 days away from my Day 39. ... Do I have all this straight?

Exactly.
~ 7 days after first pre-flower pistils appear, you can flat her out imho. In addition, you could also observe when she is starting to stretch.

Scrogged them at the end of november.

Hey 420, may I please ask, what is your 420autoflower method irrigation strategy that you use to achieve your explosive vegetative growth? Specifically for your rockwool stacks that have a volume of 5.8litres (stack of 3 blocks: 4x4, 6x6, 3x6).
🙏
Sorry Tristan!
There is no rhyme nor reason for my fertigation.
I just start out feeding a couple times a day with a turkey baster and then hook them up to automated fertigation by day 21 and feed 5 times a day with 12-15 minute increments, and no emitters on the ends of my 1/4” feed lines. Each plant gets at least 5 gallons of feed that circulates through the medium with every fertigation.
Lots of run off!

Day 39.
FloraNova Grow 750ppm. pH 6.0. 650 PPFD, 45 DLI, 24/7.
Using the net only to spread stems to get light to lower branches --
stems are a bit on the short side. No sign of pre-pistils yet.

Nice Bro!
Good way to spread out your limbs.
I’m doing the same thing with 4 of my plants.

Thats basically it! 👍

At the home stretch Brother!
Difficult to manage a multi plant SCROG but you pulled it off and now you have more cannabis that you’ll know what to do with. Lol!
But that’s a good thing! :rolleyes1:

Hey mongoose,420 posted this a couple years ago it's really good.

He grows impressive plants in rockwool with just hand feeding twice a day.
Wish he was still making videos.
Thanks for reposting. @wangotango321!

Awesome 420! Thanks for helping me with that. So to clarify, that's at least 5 gallons of feed, 5 times a day with 12-15 minute increments, on automated fertigation by day 21 - (is that spread evenly over the 24hrs so each dry back is roughly 4 hours 30 minutes?) Does that change much when flowering with those monster canopies? Massive thanks again. I'm doing the maths on this to transfer it over to my system.

:thanks:

5 gallons is about right with no emitters. To be honest, they really don’t need that much fertigation at day 21 but I don’t like changing my timer settings so I usually start them off with 12 minutes right off the bat and they seem to do just fine. Timers are set for 7:00am, 12pm, 5pm, 10pm and 3am. Mid flower is when they start drinking more and that’s when I bump up the fertigation time or add another setting. I have a decent size auto growing in 3 Grodan 4x4” cubes stacked on top of a 6x6x3” Grodan slab and with her size she’s at risk of drying out so I’ll be feeding her every 4 hours.
