I know this thread is a little old but I agree, the government gives out a licence to grow your own medicine legally but do not provide any means to obtain seeds legally. Then what WAS available for clones was stupid expensive to purchase and then there’s no guarantee your average Canadian will keep them alive never mind a decent, quality med harvest. It’s impractical and out of reach for many people that need these meds to live. Poor execution of a great idea.

I didn't even know getting clones was an option. I cant find anywhere in Sask.

Tweed has seeds available for med grower...not horrendously expensive(like the clones are) I say screw the greedy LP's and continue to get high quality seeds from overseas breeders. They have the variety i am looking to grow for medical, not the overpriced LP's with severely limited selections.

I say f**k em I'm grow as many as I can fit, then when they breach my charter rights to get in my house. Ill be the case law that gets it all changed lol. It'll be simple with all the problems and flaws in the law. I already talked to my lawyer friend that is a chronic he said he can't wait for cases like these to pop up so he can squash em until we can grow a reasonable amount. I don't remember all his exact words he basically told me as long as I'm indoors I'm safe and like someone already said above ppl can always testify against you. Avoid untrustworthy ppl knowing about your grow don't think that will ever change period. I assume will end up like making your own booze eventually. I hope lol I here they are trying to get anyone with medical card to forfeit their licence so I'm scared to go the route

I'm actually more scared to get a med license now than to grow over my limit to be honest. I'm definitely no lawyer , but I think you stand more chance of having your grow looked in on with a med license. Basically my concern with a med license would be if a fire marshal wanted to do a safety check. Not only do you have to worry about him reporting excess plants, but permit issues in your newly built grow room ect. A fire marshals doesn't need a warrant. Not sure how likely one would come around to check on licensed grows, but I am sure it happens and will happen a lot more in the future.

I agree by taking the licence I'm sure your opening your home by law to whatever government so chooses in future. I'll take my chances in recreation section lol I won't even use filters anymore I smoke so much my house smells all year round and noone can say I smell weed your growing I need to Cheak I just say I smoked lol I just can't c a way for them to know the limit is just them trying to control ppl but like I said if anyone in southern Ontario, I got perfect lawyer for you if for some crazy long shot some cops knock on ur door lol do not let in haha #gr-OH Canada

I agree with Flash. Grow what your space allows for. The laws on this are vague at best, and they're only going to get clearer with challenges. I for one will be pushing past the limit, but I live in the middle of nowhere and get few visitors, so my indoor grows stay pretty stealthy.

Lol that's right I'm building an outdoor green house with a insulated tarp gonna veg out 4 huge plants for 6 month to yr then give all the weed away at the farmers market just for shits and giggles there no laws against giving it away and be good way to break the ice. The more we stop hiding it the better integrated we will be and laws will be dropped lesser and lesser lol hopefully so will the prices. I try and talk every person I know that smokes into growing now lol spread the word, spread the herb

So what do you guys think, Auto's all the way now ? I not sure how a photo period grow will work now. 1 Mom, 1 clone, 1 veg and 1 flower ? Seems like a lot of work, space, and nutrient mixing. I'd like to do an outdoor grow, but living in the city on a corner lot, I just don't see my plants lasting long before someone spots them and makes off with my ladies.

I'm curious how everyone here is handling it ? Myself, I'm flowering off the last of my photo's and will be auto's from here on out. Any idea on how they are going to handle people growing more than 4 plants ? A fine possibly ?

I thought it would be autos all the way my self also and I buy autos for indoor ,but keep getting free beans sometimes with weed that I buy, and,, got very lucky so far on free beans so, I stick those outside...and try to turn them into monsters trees...

It is stupid 4plants just plain dumb. In order to change this we all need to grow as much as we need. Overgrow the government.
