Indoor GreenBean's Grows

Day 96! Outdoor grow just about done. Who needs lights? Fairly happy with this experiment! Maintenance free for the most part.

PS - just popped a Night Owl Cosmic Apprentice out there. To see what I can squeeze in before the daylight hours start to really dwindle.

Whoo, hefty cola sticking up on that right side!
Not too shabby. But thanks! I just try to mimic an indoor tent grow with the training for outside grows. Make sure everything is getting good light. Everything is pretty damn chunky. But the one that you refer to is the main stem. She would have been much taller if I hadn't have bent her over like that. But..probably nowhere near the all around chunkiness if I hadn't. Plus, you know, it helps get some air flowing through there and it's also easier to spot any issues or pests. Luckily not much in the way of either. And no PH'ing just for the hell of it, to see what happens, and she has done great. My PH with nutes usually sits right around 6.5 so it's not anything bonkers.

One thing I noticed on this outdoor grow. Even with triple digit temps there have been no issues with foxtailing or anything like that. She started out slower vs an indoors tent. But got woodier stems, faster. If this had been inside in the tent, then there would be foxtailing I can almost guarantee if temps were hitting around 90F. At most, she's had 16 hours of daylight per day. That is starting to dwindle.

It's been a stress free grow vs tent growing. So as mentioned, I popped a Cosmic Apprentice. And am getting ready to pop a Double Grape. I want to see how other strains due in similar conditions. Next year, I will do at least one fully organic like I do the veg garden.

Harvested Sherb after heavy rains. No pics. Had to do it in a rush before caterpillars started to move in. Luckily she was ready.

Here’s the outdoor Cosmic Apprentice grow so far. Day 42. Pretty big girl. Just fed her first B nutes.

Nice plant! How's things been? Your outdoor plants look like they turn out great. Going to try some photos out there next year?
Hey there! I've just been busy working on new releases on the main site for Halloween. Just released a glow in the dark print that is pretty crazy. Trying to take on more custom jobs too. So between 1 established site, a newer site (the animal rescue stuff), and custom...pretty busy.

As far as photos outdoors, I've already done that. They get too damn big - I think there's a photo of a photo somewhere in this long assed thread - she was 12 ft tall. Even though it's legal here, I don't like my neighbors up in my business. A huge photo stinks up the whole block.

Outdoor autos have been pretty impressive. So I'm thinking since I shut down the tent in the summer, I'll do my autos out there. Big enough, but not too big. And indoor grows will just be photos for awhile. My "plans" always change though.

I've got a Double Grape out there too. Staying a bit smaller but I've never grown it before. From my outdoor adventures, at least in this climate, appears that the more Sativa leaning plants do better outside. Which I guess makes sense since the Sativas have a more spindly structure.

Day 47 for the Cosmic Apprentice outdoor grow. And man, this plant is pretty impressive. She's got what appears to be shaping up as some massive colas. I've just started to clean up around the lower canopy recently. Interesting to note that we're down to about 12 hours of daylight now, if I am not mistaken. This whole outdoor adventure has been interesting. It's been a lot more hands off other than a little canopy training and minor lollipopping. No PH checks, nada. Just mix the nutes and dump them in. My PH with nutes is around 6.5 anyway so not anything bonkers. Anyhooo, thanks for following along. I have to get back to work. Have a good one!

Day 61 Cosmic Apprentice. Look at her go…

EDIT - Sorry to not be around much. Obviously have had a lot going on. Sorry about that. With the economy the way that it is...This is likely to be my last grow for a good while. I have to focus harder on business. I appreciate everyone that has followed along in this thread. Not saying I won't ever be around, but obviously nowhere near a year or so ago. If you are looking for me, you know where to find me. At least some of you do. I will try to pop in when I am close to harvesting this one though. Be careful out there!
