That is true. I've never worried much, or had any issues with light leaks myself. But I can totally understand the part about the schedule. As is I've missed a day here and there feeding these things due to my schedule lately. But I don't think that is a bad thing, despite what a lot of people will say. I think it makes them even hungrier. Of course, the medium is well saturated and I would never let it totally dry it. Matter of fact, on almost all of my grows, there is one day a week, usually Sunday where I don't "HAVE" to feed. The vermiculite and little bit of soil does a great job retaining the water.I have had the same thinking. But I likle the idea of not worrying about light leaks and can still turn on the lights if I need to with my schedule.
I was growing outside in the summer for the last few years. This is the first summer growing indoors in a while.
I used to only grow outside until a couple years ago. I think I'm just gonna take summers off going forward though. After this run, the way it looks, and next one = BlackStrap and probably Mango Smile. I will have even more stock on hand, and it's already so ridiculous that I'm extracting a bunch of stuff and freezing the FECO.
