Lady Walter at Day 27. She seems to have started to kick into gear now. Sometimes you just have to ride it out. Dropped her back down to 3.5g per gallon of V1 and V2 since Mendel is going on Bloom very soon - if not today. I'll see where she's at once she hits preflower and adjust if needed. At this stage, 4g on her was just a waste. She's still a slow mover, but I think that's about to change. If I can get her vertical, I think she's going to have a beautiful structure.
And Mendel at day 37 is starting to reach for the sky more as she heads into full bloom. I expect that to continue. Did a good lower defoliation last night, as well as interiors. But she seems to fill in those interior areas super fast, literally overnight. The Floraflex B contains a good amount of N in it, so I expect her to keep climbing.
She's starting to take on that "crown" formation that I want as I work the grommets = the taller inner limbs (like the two original colas) get pulled to the outer edge outer as I widen the canopy, and then the smaller outer limbs become the new inner limbs and can get good light penetration and continue to grow up. I continue to widen the canopy as we go. Trying to keep the taller limbs around the outer edge of the plant. For the most part. There will always be some limbs around the edges that I just have to get as much light as possible to.
Still a few smaller sites and leaves on the lowers that I left, I usually wait until I can really see how vertical (and wide) the plant is going to get, and if they will get light penetration to them, before I decide to keep or remove them.
