Dutch Passion Gonzo grows Think Different in COCO under HS1

I wasn't planning on doing a coco grow, but then again, I wasn't planning on getting 75 x 16 L coco substrate, prefertilized for 2-3 months it says on the box, that's 1200 L for 75 Euro. With another 2400 L available....

So I'm staying glued here

Looking sweet so far.....

Question, does anyone reuse the coco, with root ball?

I've never tried it, I would have thought fresh coco would be better, and you'd need to give some decent feeds of cannazyme a couple of weeks before to try and turn them into food - I would have thought this could lead to unpredicatable results. ^_^

I like to keep things as easy as possible, but sure it could be done with the right preparation.

Looking Great! I Love the over head shot - very symetrical! :D

Hypnotizing!

Thanks. I like symetry too, it comes from Advanced Nutrients. In soil, I can not use AN because of water and plants get more messy, I have just looked at the pictures, they look very different from this one.

Looking much better dude.

After some initial failures, things are going better now.

Prefertilized coco? What is it fertilized with, that would last 3 months?

Reusing coco? I can not say anything from my experience, but Plagron says it is OK to use it for half a year. Roots must be taken out, coco has to be rinsed until outrun EC is 0 (with RO) and thats it. And some enzymes last 14 days of old grow and first 14 days of new grow to help clean out root material.

But I wouldnt do that. 5€ per plant does not seem too much for me, especially when I think about problems, that reusing might bring. I have enough problems without that.

Late to the party dude but subbed up for the rest of your grow :)

Wellcome WP.

Unpredictable results, yes, I wouldnt dare to mess with old coco full of rotting root material, because itsalmost impossible to remove all roots.
