Going to make some auto flower seeds

How do you all go about deciding when the seeds are mature enough to harvest the entire plant?

I like to give 6 weeks from pollination.
If you only pollinate one branch you can cut everything off the plant except that branch and let it go until the seeds fall off the plant naturally.
If you go this route you should place something under the branch to catch the seeds.
I made a large newspaper cone and taped a red solo cup to the bottom once to catch the seeds, they just funnel down into the cup.

I'm about to start reversing auto clones to make pollen for personal seeds. When do I apply the pollen to female autos? Soon as the pistils start or? And when do I start applying the colloidal silver? Soon as the pistils start also? Thanks

Start applying C/S as soon as you see the pistils or like in the case of Reg Autos as soon as it shows its sex.
As for the pollen, I like to apply pollen when the buds are about the size of a nickel to a quarter approximately 50+ white hair sticking up like a bad hair day.
If you have a look here https://www.autoflower.org/threads/no-pollen-yet-howcum.81524/page-8 at post #80 you'll see pics of my last branch of seed harvest and the success I've had doing it that way.
I hope you have all the success I've been having.

I'm not worried about failing. I'll be using clones so I dont sacrifice crossing a whole plant.I feel like I'll be just fine. Just needed to know when to start. Lol Got my cs and spray bottles in. Just waiting for the right strains to clone and start my first breeding project. I will bring them to f5 b4 releasing any strains.

F5's for the ones you are crossing I'm guessing.
If you are pollinating the same strain from a reputable seed banks you "should be" fine, their strains should be stable.

Yeah I'll be breeding with stable genetics. Working with f5s.

pollen wise, wait until they are at the "pom pom" stage. They apply. Its best to keep the two in different areas so you dont pollinate it too early.

Yeah I dont want everything seeded crazy bad. They definitely wont be in my flower room.

That and seed maturity timing will be all off, and the plant will start shifting its efforts into making seeds.
Water is your best friend for stopping pollen from working..
On plants you dont want to make seeds with.
Research this, so you are ready.
