Going to make some auto flower seeds

I've never heard of a female not being able to be reversed to be honest.
Last year I also did a couple of reversals and after the first spray with STS I forgot one branch for the second and third spray and after three weeks the branch started producing more sacs then the other branches which did get three applications, which suggest to me that one application of STS is enough.

That is interesting. I actually took a couple of clones that are flowering at the same time as the mother and will spray them once or twice to see their reaction. Maybe I sprayed the mother too much! If that was the case wouldn't it just generate sterile sacs or die rather than grow white pistols? How can she flower without ethylene?

I tried CS, but didn't have any luck with it. So I tried STS the next season and was successful in turning 4 out of 4 ladies. Now I've done it, the fun has gone away and so is the need. I got hooked on buying seeds, because we want all the strains  Even though I have room/time/permission from the missus (ahum) for only four plants...

It's either that or your solutions weren't correctly made. Not that I assume that you did, but it is a possibility...
Of course, you could have plants that are so stubborn that they refuse to turn, but I haven't seen it except when I tried with CS.

Take a look @ the stickies here. Explanation how to make CS and STS. If you ask me, STS is way easier and cheaper to make then CS. But that's what I think of it of course ;)

This and some of the other issues can be minimized by removing a healthy branch off your autoflower and prepare It like a clone. Then you start spraying that branch, no need to wait for it to start rooting, in a separate area from your flower room. I use a 2x2x3 tent for breeding purposes. This way your main crop is preserved and you can collect this pollen for a future grow.
I find allowing your pollen to dry and fall naturally works best so I simple put a paper plate around the base of the cloned branch and wait for nature to do it’s thing. Biggest failures l have seen, with pollen or seed making, is trying to rush the process. Done it myself with pollen a couple times in the beginning.

I'm really interested in trying out this method on my next grow in order to keep my Northern Lights strain (down to my last seed) going. Can you please elaborate more on how you do this?

I'm guessing take a branch early from my NL, spray when I see it showing pistils at the nodes, and then once I get the pollen I can use it on the mother plant as well as any others?

Some questions -

1) Do auto seeds mature faster than photos?
2) I have an auto Bruce Banner that was pollenated a while back. Its ready to harvest but the seeds will take a few more weeks to mature. Is it ok to harvest what I can off of the plant and keep the seeds “cooking” or will the plant be too stressed out to mature the seeds?
3) What would happen if I put a pollinated plant with maturing seeds back into an 18/6 schedule? Would it stop maturing the seeds and go into veg? I’d like to finish some of the pollinated plants outside but we have 15 - 16 hours of light up here.
4) I sprayed one branch of an auto a couple of times and then stopped (decided I wanted the product instead) but it ended up generating pollen sacs. Have you ever consumed any of the plants that you’ve sprayed with STS or CS?

1 auto seeds take about 4 weeks from pollenation i like to let them go 6 weeks+ just to make sute everycseed is fully developed. Let her ride until she has 1 foot in the grave.

2 u can chop everything but the seeded branches and shell be fine. Ive done it countless times.

3 autos arent very sensetive to light schedule. They just finish no matter what. 18/6 is fine.

4 DO NOT SMOKE ANY PLANT THAT IS SPRAYED W CS OR STS!!!!!!!! u can safely make topicals but i would be leary of eating sts. C.s. in pure form can be ingested in small amounts.

got a link for your colloidal silver thanks for the great post and all the help

STS is a skin irritant (check the MSDS), it's not safe to use in topicals either.

does that cannafem stuff work
Are they just selling colloidal silver marked up 1000%? Instead of paying $44.32 for 3 oz :nono: , you could pay about the same and source the ingredients for a lifetime supply of STS, and you won't need to spray that every single day for weeks on end either.
