Customs here in the US will send you a seizure letter if they can, which gives you the opportunity to appeal their decision.
It’s just their way of getting you to admit you ordered the item. Throw the letter in the trash and accept your loss.
If the post office intercepts something, a lot of the time they will even call you with the line, we have a package you ordered. To which you answer, I didn’t order anything. They will then ask you permission to open said package, because they cannot without a search warrant. Of course your answer should be, what did I just tell you I didn’t order anything and hang up. I’ve had both experiences and while neither is going to get you put in jail, it can make you a little paranoid when it happens.
