New Grower "GodAmJT's Perpetual Greenery"

Looks great!

That sucks about the Zambeza strike out. I have the feeling the Dinafems will treat you MUCH better. :) and the AKR's are WoS right? Yeah...double checked. Those have been blowing up too :)

Yeah, WoS does the AKRs, and I've seen quite a few threads on folks who have grown them, so I want to grow them in tandem.. I might just stick to this one Critical Jack, and do some ScrOGing this go-around, perhaps a little LST, but I want to really get this next grow down pat because it's possible I may move the OG Kush up to the 3rd grow, but we'll see.. I figure if I started a Photo now, I'd be done around the end of the year, and I wasn't hoping to wait that long for my next harvest lol I was actually hoping to time it right that I can get my 3rd grow started right about halfway with the 2nd so I can do a semi-perpetual, maybe a once a month harvest, or once every month and a half.. I only need about an O to an O and a 1/2 to last me that long, so if I can get an O a month, or average that, then I'll be happy..

Lookin' good ... :niceshot:

I suppose today marks the end of an era, for I have reached..... Flush time..... muahahahaahah!!!! So I've been outta town a couple days, and had noticed some yellowing of the leaves, and figured it was about time, and I wanted to wait just a little longer until more of the fan leaves were yellow, so I came home today, and low-and-behold, most of the fan leaves are yellowed, and I dumped the res, and filled with plain pH'ed distilled water and ran it for about 30 minutes. I checked the ppms and they were at 115, which is a good thing, from what I understand.. I will dump this water, and add fresh pH'ed water again tomorrow, and flush again, hopefully getting my ppms down below 50, and I will then leave that water in the res for one more day, and then it's chop-chop-chop!!! I sliced off a small sample bud about 3 or 4 days ago, and threw it in a small paper bag.. It's still a little moist, so I'm going to leave the bag open tonight to dry it a little faster, so then I can throw it in a small glass jar to cure for a few days and see what I'm looking forward to.. If all goes as planned, I'll be smoking this beast by the end of the month!!!!!!!

Very Nice! Congrats Man!!!!!

Looks Yummy! Some of the close ups look so similar to my Dark Devil with the frostiness and the sort-of exotic looking clawing...:) Me Likey!

Thanks man!!! I know you probably won't see this until after you get back, but I appreciate it!! I know you're gonna be dying to get back to check your plant!! I've finally got a good seed popped (Dinafem Critical Jack), and this one Zambeza Jack is holding on for dear life, so I am not gonna toss it, and see how far I can take it.. I will probably start a new journal after I chop this one down.. Unfortunately, my roommate has been a total douche, so my gf and I are moving out at the end of the month.. Thankfully, it's just across town, so the move shouldn't be too tough on the little guys, but it's still a pain in my ass.. I might have more room at the next location, so I may get a second tent, and give my buddy my grow box that I made, so he can start growing.. He's got his card, but doesn't grow because he feels the same way I did at the beginning: nervous and unsure..

So here are the new seedlings I've got going on.. The healthy looking one is the Dinafem Critical Jack Auto, and the mutant one is the Zambeza Auto Jack Herer.. Who knows, maybe I'll get a mini-shrub out of the Zambeza, but I doubt it lol

Got up early, even after a night of partying from a best friend's wedding last night, out of pure excitement.. Today, was chop day.. The plant was very cooperative and taking her down was bittersweet, yet skunky and invigorating.. I went through 4 sets of nitrile gloves and had to clean my scissors 3 times because of the stickiness.. Optimistically, I think my estimates are on par, as I look at them, and feel their wet weights.. I haven't weighed them, mostly because I just finished after 3 straight hours of cutting and trimming and cleaning.. I had to take a bake-break in the middle, but I tell you what.... If she tastes ANYTHING like what the sample one did after a good cure, then I'm gonna be shitting myself with enjoyment!! I got a little over 2oz of trim/sugar leaf for some oils/edibles which I might make in the next couple days.. Anyway, here are some pictures of the takedown..

So after roughly 60hrs, the smallest buds (as seen in the pictures above) seemed to be dry enough, as the outsides had a little crunch, and there was a liiiiiittle bit of sponginess but they didn't smell too green.. The bigger ones will get checked in the morning, but I jarred the smaller buds and got 20.6g.. Boveda + 1qt mason jar (using a baggy to help the seal) + mini-hygrometer = yesssssssssssssss..

The only question I had, is even with the 60g 62% Boveda pack, the humidity in the jar has been hovering at 65-66% since this afternoon. Should I vent the jar/take out the bud and give it a little longer drying?? If not, then I figure by the time I move into my new place, this stuff should be fully cured and ready for the fish-bowling house-warming party!!

I generally don't get a Boveda involved until I have jarred the bud for 12-24 hrs and gotten a reading of 65% or less ... often the outside of a bud will get dry while the inside stays moist ... I jar my buds when the correct time has passed and check the rh ... it's interesting to see a crispy bud turn soft and moist when jarred ... but it comes back out for some more open air time if the bud is over 65% ... Great harvest 'G' ... Congratulations !!
