Dry weight of NLxBB [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] was 61g total; 54g of straight buds and the rest was popcorn/trim.. Just about normalized in the jars, so I think that's a wrap on those!!! Candy kush are finally trucking along a little, so I'm happy about that!!! Still not even close to a good GPW, but a quap for yield isn't all that bad in my mind.. It'd be nice to pull a 1/2lbs at some point, so I think 3 plants at a time is gonna be my goal, at least in soil.. @Chester I finally got the Nirvana Blue Mystic seeds in the mail the other day.. I'm thinking about doing just one of the 3 of them, a Dinafem Sour Diesel and possibly a DP Blueberry for my next run after the Candy Kush is done... I think from here on out, I'm only going to stick to very well known and reputable breeders.. I hate losing out on any yield..

I also picked up 2 3500K COBs last week, as I'm going to convert my older MarsII panel to the DIY COB hack by the end of the summer.. Depending on how things look with work, I may have to scale back my grow slightly because I may not have as much money coming in soon, so we'll see..

Candy Kush is cruising along.. Maybe week 4?? Maybe I should keep track of that stuff.. I just sort of figure that they'really done when they're done.. Watered them for the 2nd time with tap water, 3ml Botanicare Pure Blend Tea and about a tablespoon of molasses.. Each one took about 3/4 of a gallon of the mix.. I took off 2 fan leaves each to open up the lower sites.. Gonna ponytail them tomorrow..

I did a light foliar feeding of the Candy Kush, and I guess it's a bit of an experiment because I've never foliar fed before, and I'm still also very new to growing with supersoil/organics, so I'm hoping i didn't just shock the hell out of them.. I sprayed them with a solution of 1.0ml of General Hydroponics Floralicious+, according to their schedule.. I went on the softer side, instead of 2ml.. I saturated the leaves for the most part, roughly 30min after lights came on to maximize auxin input, however I'm not really sure what to expect here.. I've read a few threads where autoflower guys use foliars, however I almost feel like most of them are going for high brix, and I'm just trying to grow some quap-monsters.. My goal is to get at LEAST 3oz off each plant, however, I can't be too sure.. I was going to top them, but they are growing like weeds, so I'm not gonna push it.. Next stop is using larger pots, and when my veggies finish, I'm probably gonna requisition some of the 5gal buckets to grow the next round.. Right now, I have 3 completely different containers; 1x 5-gal equivalent airpot, 1x rectangular window box (approx. 4gal), and 1x 18ltr nursery pot.. So far, pheno in the nursery pot is rocking out hard; the others, not so much..


Next round (which I will be starting in 2 weeks), is going to be 1x DP Auto Blueberry, 1x Fast Buds Fruit Punch, and a 1x Dinafem Sour Diesel.. Going kinda fruity, kinda skunky on the next round, so I guess we'll see what's up!!! I LOVE supersoil!!!!! nothing better than just watering every couple days with a great saturation.. I'm still trying to figure out why some guys water every day, but guys like @TaNg do it, and comes up with some of the sickest buds I've ever seen, so there must be some truth to it; albeit slightly different for chemical nutes vs. straight soil/supersoil...

I'm ordering a couple more 3500K COBs this week, and hopefully by the end of August, I'll have the last 2, and then will transition to a Mars-to-COB light.. I wanna try to bring my flux/lumens up a bit, and maybe decrease SOME of the heat.. The dehumidifier is definitely bringing the ambient temps up in my entire basement, so I'm flirting with near-90F (30C) temps which from what I've read and seen so far doesn't really mess with them that much, however, I'd like to get the temps down to low 80's so I can toss another LED panel in to finish these cunts.. I'll get some pics in a minute..

So I lied and thought I had a Nirvana pack of seeds.. I hadn't inventoried the package I got, I just took the baggies out and threw them in my seed jar.. So, i'm gonna hit up Herbie's and see what's up.. Regardless, i've got some choices to make.. If anyone is following me, i'll let you decide on which autos to grow next.. I need to start germination within the next couple weeks.. I was gonna do:

1 - DP Auto Blueberry
1 - Heavyweight Fruit Punch
1 - Dinafem Auto Sour Diesel

However... If you guys think of a better option, i'm all ears!!!!

As for the Candy Kush...

They seem to be doing well!!! Since I left this morning, all 3 of them gained about 2" (5cm) of growth.. I took off a couple fan leaves each with hopes it opens up the lower sites a bit more.. 2 of the plants look like similar phenos while the other is my champ.. Already starting to get stinky!!

Let me know what I should grow next!!! I may start a couple photo GDP this round.. I keep telling myself I would but haven't, and owe it to my late friend who gave me them.. Apparently there is a way to sex seeds, and everything I've read seems solid.. I'll probably veg them in with my autos to save on some electricity and give me time to get my tent set up.. I have a couple extra LED panels and some CFLS for the tent as well as a carbon scrubber and fan..

Now I just need to convince the wife the extra electricity is worth it.. lol

So i'm starting the seeds tonight.. I was holding off to see how these plants were going to turn out, and I have family coming in from outta town later this week, so I didn't want to have to mess with a humidome and transplanting while they are here.. The parents are old school and still don't fully agree with me growing, so I don't want to take time away from their visit.. i'm going with the DP Blueberry, Fast Buds Fruit Punch and the Dinafem Sour Diesel.. This will be an interesting grow because i'be never grown 3 different strains simultaneously, usually only when i'm starting new beans..

As for the Candy Kush, 2 of the plants look fantastic!! The plant in the smaller pot is big and bushy while the plant in the largest pot is a midget, but beautiful green and the pistils are starting to change, bulking up.. Unfortunately, I may have let the airpot dry out a little too much because it's yellowing like a Mg deficiency.. I fed them all solution of Pure Blend Tea @ 3ml/gal, molasses @ 1TBS/gal, Hydroguard @ 4ml/gal and kelp extract @ 1ml/gal.. All 3 plants look happy with their leaves reaching towards the lights, so hopefully the tea slowed the deficiency and re-balanced the pH.. Almost looks like the middle plant will finish first, maybe another 3-4 weeks, while the other 2 are gonna be quite a bit longer as they haven't even started bulking or changing pistils.. I started them June 30th, so by my rough calculations, they're gonna be 90+ days total time.. All 3 smell different, so the pheno differences are very apparent.. I'll get some pictures when I get home tonight..

So here are the pictures.. You can see the deficiency pretty well.. I ran a gallon of straight water through it today and discarded the runoff.. The leaves perked up a little, but the color is mostly gone.. The other 2 plants are rocking out well though, so I guess I can't complain too much!!!!
