New Grower "GodAmJT's Perpetual Greenery"

Definitely takes more than a couple days without water to kill them. The yellowing fans just look like they're using up the available nitrogen. Yellowing at the top with the red stripes looks like molybdenum deficiency. Seen that before from low ph. Nothing I'd worry about too much, though. Buds look great, and that's the stuff we want anyway. :smoking:

Nine weeks isn't too early for a plant to finish ... running dry is hard on a plant .... could be a difference in the plants root structure is the reason one wants to recover and the other doesn't ... last time I ran a plant dry I picked off all the dead leaves and left the plant run till I was ready to harvest the others ... good luck G ...

Okay!!! You guys have me sold!!! I'm going to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't start getting mold or rot from stress.. WoS seems to have some strong genetics, so with that, I hope their resistance is good!! I just dropped some Candy Kush seeds for my next run.. I think i'm also going to start gathering stuff for my first Mars-to-CRE conversion for my older light.. I'd love to cut down on the electricity even more!!

Thanks again guys!!!!

I'd be thinking about harvesting it in the near future ... :vibe:

I went down and checked them last night (nothing sucks more than trying to get down to the basement on my ass because I still can't put weight on my foot), and the deficient plant looks like the deficiencies are slowing, but nothing too drastic.. I may trim all of the dead or dying leaves off and just run it for a few more days, although I'm mighty tempted to chop it today or tomorrow and get it drying so I can put the remaining plant under both Mars II's... I have a feeling the remaining plant has at least another 1-2 weeks left, as it's plumping, although most of the pistils have turned orange, so unless this thing starts to foxtail or plump up some more, it may be destined for next weekend.. 2 of the 3 Candy Kush are now sprouted with cotelydons, and the 3rd, I'm hoping, should be emergent as of today.. I'd like to give them about 1-2 weeks in the humidome because the dehumidifier has stripped most of the moisture from my basement, so in the grow box, RH has been hovering in between 30-40%; clearly too low for seedlings.. I'm torn as to whether or not I'm gonna top them, but ponytailing worked great for the NLxBBs, so I'm going to at LEAST do that.. It'll be the same soil and super-soil that I used for these, although I'm gonna try using a touch of nutes on one of them to see if I can enhance the grow.. I have a handful of organic nutes kicking around for my veggie garden, maybe something will work.. I'd say once the warm weather passes, I'm probably gonna fire up the hydro again, and do just 1 plant in my tent, while I do a handful in the grow box.. It's all still a work-in-progress, but I'd like to start doing 2 strains at a time, now that I have a bunch of different seeds with 1 or 2 seeds per pack..

Anyway, you guys are awesome and thanks for the advice!!!! I'm gonna give the plant until this afternoon to make a decision.. If the deficiencies are still spreading, or not getting any better whatsoever, I'll probably chop her tonight, but if it's starting to kinda come around, I'll let it wait until next week and let some of the pistils change to orange..

Nothing say Freedom like harvesting weed July 4th weekend ... :d5:

As I read that comment, I envisioned a bald eagle perched on my shoulder, that's draped with a flag, and "Hail to the Chief" in the background.. lol

I'm about to liberate these buds, dammit!!!

:pass:

Well, after the issues I had last week, and just watering the plants on a normal basis now (I can actually get up and move around with the air cast on my foot), the plants bounced back a bit. I took these pictures about a week ago, and you can see what's going on.. The plant that was originally healthy, is now showing signs of stress, although I'm not sure if I'm confusing signs of stress, with end of life, as all of the trichs are cloudy now and a handful of amber.. I haven't seen a white pistil in days, so I'm gonna chop her today.. Not my biggest yielder by any means, but I'm guessing maybe 1-2ozs once it's dried?! The 2nd plant, that I was almost certain I was gonna have to take down last week, has shown zero signs of deficiencies now, and the leaves that were green, are all still very green.. I think it had even thrown out a handful more white pistils.. Trichs are about 75-80% cloudy, and a few amber, so I'm actually tempted to leave her in for another week to see if she fattens up a bit.. If she does, she will be at least 30% larger than the other plant, so I'm willing to tough it out for a few more days.. My Candy Kush are slowly taking off.. Today, I'm going to be moving them from the humidome to the grow box, although I may hold off, and take down one of my LED panels as the glass is pretty foggy and the heat sinks have some dirt/dust on them, so I may turn it off for the day and pull it apart to clean it.. When the lights come on in a bit, I'll take a couple pics; more than likely "chop" pics..

I'm thinking the curling of the leaves may be heat/light related, and honestly, I think that may have played a role in the other plant's health issues.. I moved the light to about 12" (roughly 30cm), and it was still having an affect on both plants, so I'm not sure if this Mars panel is higher powered than I originally expected, or if there's some difference in the diode choices.. Temps have a range of low 70F's with lights off, and a high of about 84F, and RH has been steady in the low-to-mid 40% range, thanks to the dehumidifier..
