These are the babies coming up.. The bigger one is the AKR, chugging along.. She got a 200-ish ppm bloom mix this morning at a pH of roughly 5.9.. The next one in the smaller pot is WW#1.. Her roots were blowing out the rockwool cube!!! I should have taken a picture of the bottom so you guys could see how persistent the roots are on this.. The smaller turd is WW#2.. The seed husk never came off completely and I think that may have stunted the initial growth.. She is the candidate for a possible soil/rockwool combination.. The roots are starting to slowly come through the bottom of the cube.. The only dilemma I run into, is how watering will going, since the water just flows evenly through the cube.. It does retain quite a bit, but I suppose the only way to find out is to try it!!! If I do that, then I won't need to get another halo, just hand water it and hope it stays small.. Watch, this one will be the plant of the century for me and will turn out to be a monster!! lol

The last two pictures worth mentioning are the perspective shot of the Zambeza and a shot of a lower bud to show how many white pistils there still are.. Much ripening to go!!

GET OUTTA MY HEAD!! lol I have 3 windows open in Chrome right now, all of them are bud washing threads from various forums!!! I'm definitely going to be washing the Zambeza, and if I like the outcome, I think I may just keep using it as a way to clean the plants.. I agree with what others have said in other threads; stuff builds up on the plants naturally like dust, pet hair (in my case), pest sprays I've used, dead bugs, dead bug eggs, live bugs, etc.... I don't really want to smoke bug turds to be honest with you, although I'm sure with the amount I've smoked over the years, I am probably immune to bug shit lol

A little update.... GROWTH!!!! The AKR is starting to get a bit bigger every day!! As for the WWs, I decided to just toss the runt into a rockwool pot since I don't plan on doing the full recirculating top-feed, unless I can find a bigger tent!! I have a sneaky suspicion that the WWs are going to get kinda big for some reason.. I really wish the Zambeza would finish though!! This thing is dragging its knuckles!!! I had a nice spurt of white pistils changing to orange, but it's like it stalled out and a bunch of new ones showed up.. I'm going to have to cut the top off of the plant because even with the supplemented lighting, the bottoms are just not getting ripe!! I know, terrible problem to have, right?? lol Every single bud is SUPER dense and absolutely covered in trichs!!! I'm sorta beside myself, as I don't think I've ever personally seen a plant with this much trich coverage.. Maybe I have, I've smoked a lot of weed, but I'm impressed! I did snip off a small sample bud and dried it, toked it and it has an excellent flavor, and even after a couple hits, the shit was potent!!!

Looks like you got some good stuff going on man. Your going to like that AKR..very nice indica smoke man. Makes great eddibles too, that are all body and no head. If you want functional eddibles that your head isnt in a daze lol. Only thing is, I miss my head being in a daze when I ate it.

Ive had to water cure some of my buds, because of mold. It decided to get unusually humid when I was curing in my jars..So, breathing them didn’t stop it.

I should add that I cold water cure it in the fridge, and exchanged the water daily. I did this until a 24/7 sitting ran off clear. (this was more focused on mold though) not general washing. I put it all into cooking oil. I ate all of it through the coarse of a month.

So I ended up taking down the Zambeza a couple days ago because I completely forgot until my gf told me that we're going away to a family member's wedding and will be gone for about a week.. Since I've been battling mold, I decided that it's too long for me to be gone without anyone checking up on the plant even if I spent a few days flushing, and then chopped.. I cut the buds down and washed them, found a little more rot but all in all, after a washing, drying and trimming, I have just about 2.4oz. Here are some craptastic cell phone pictures.. The buds are SUPER sticky and wicked dense.. They will go in the jar late tonight. I'd been drying and curing the main cola, since I took it down a little while ago, and at 4 days in the jar curing, this thing tastes amazing with a crazy-strong high and ultra-couch lock.. Ultra-munchies, too.. I haven't slept this good in ages!!!! lol
