Nutrients FullDuplex abandons the Fox....

ok broseph, gots a few queried if I may. I am currently doing bio tabs in probably 6 or seven different ways with various things, noit including the three BT alone grows with their full compliment short of the spray. yet I did spray three times the toof decay and another application today.

me question is when you blended the stuff what did you inoculate with and what amount. and how warm and/or hot it got? any mycelium? did you add rice or oats to test this at all? just curious on more specifics of the cooking batch. I didnt have the soil to do that at the time. Thanks bro!

Ill answer this first so the next post is clear.

I inoculate with an organic baby cereal to be honest with you it does two things for me, it has both rice and oats in it. So it feeds them and shows me that they are germinating and multiplying. The stuff is loaded with vitamins and minerals and it has always been a staple in my organic builds. Its never let me down and i swear its what gives the plants the waxy look, as i have omitted it in the past to see and the look of the leaf was not the same.

Once i blend it, it goes in a sealed tub, temps are no higher than 75 and i let it sit for 3-4 days. Open and then stir it and i repeat that for a few more cycles until i know i can seal the lid and not form mold. Have to evacuate the moisture after the 4th day. If not youll mold and you have to watch that. i used some mycelium i got off of amazon that a few had recommended to me.

Ok so official update and the last parts to my soil mix.

Currently i ran a batch pre bio tab mix to see where it stood as far as where it would need improvements. It did great all the way until heavy flower, and it showed massive CAL/MAG issues and i had to step in with chem ferts to get her from tanking the rest of the grow. Now most would freak out that they had some cal mag damage but its not hurting her at all and it was a test for me anyway to see if my soil had what it took to take the demands of the LED and the plant. I found an area of improvement with the run and have the solution. Not only to the cal mag issues but to the 25 pots and getting tabs in each of them given they will be .5 gal pots.

They will be 5x5x7 in pots, these took me a long time to find as i wanted something over a 5 in drop in the pot and hydrofarm came through.

Here is the gal that took a cal Mag hit that was corrected before it took her out. She is the mother of my Bobbys Widow line and a White Widow from DinaFem. You can see the classic Cal/Mag hit here but the dark centers where it was stopped. Ill continue to address her issues for another week and then she will be on plain water anyway.

As you can see here the issue was stopped and she took it well.

So this is what i am doing to both correct the cal mag issues in the soil as well as get the biotabs cracked out over several pots. The Calcium Carbonate that is here will do two things, address any soil ph issues as it is a product of limestone and add Calcium to the soil for the plant to uptake. The tea bags here will allow me to break up the biotab into 5g parts. Each Tab is 20g and 5g to a .5 gal pot should be about right. The tea bags will keep it slow release as it will be all in the bag as it was compressed in the original tab and it will hold it together. The bags are organic and unbleached so no chems there either.

Beautiful plants man they look like some frosty dank trees

Nice thread going on here, especially with the questions. I've just sent an e-mail to Biotabs about their new products, Silicium Flash and PK 5-8, so it's good to get some info.

Around my area you could say that Biotabs are fairly popular, especially with Autopots and people get really good results. I don't think that the tabs alone will get you massive buds but their Starter Pack comes with the tabs and 4 more products (myco, hummus, soil improvers and so on) which combined with their PK Booster Compost Tea will surely lead to a bountiful harvest :smoking:.

Anyhow, subbed .
