Mephisto Genetics Froot's Mephisto - Basically Jurassic Park

thanks bro :bump:
Subbed up :pop:

After I finish with the test grow I just started, Ripleys and Fugue are next for me. That is an impressive ROG you got going, appreciate the preview.:headbang:

Deffo flush them out for a week or two, its ok for them to look pretty rough at harvest. You will see a decrease in harshness if you let them eat up all the excess nutes.

:vibes:

much appreciated mate! i've seen you post a few pics not so long back and i remember they were fine specimens!
exactly what i've tried with a little Tangie'Matic i chopped last night - no food for a couple of weeks, just water with Flawless Finish 3 times - she really slowed down on the drinking but hopefully it'll be enough to clean up the flavour some :smokeit:

I think I will join you here on my next cycle mate.

The more I look at that Sour Livers the more I think it must of been your drying that made it a little tastless, the 0 flush wont have helped either, I love the strain so much. The livers wouldn't be the jar at 52% humidity would it? Have you thought about grabbing a couple of integra or boveda satchels and putting them in the jars, I think you would love it :smoking:

@Roasty McToasty Is right on the money, you want to get rid of as much of that chlorophyll as you can

many a factor contributed to that bud not being quite right - don't be deceived by her photogenic looks! thinking back on her again, i think she had too much N at her disposal which encouraged some strange, leafy growth on the buds rather than nice stacking and swelling of calyxes. she didn't produce trichs the same way my others did, and when i saw how your dozen Sour Livers were coming along, i knew something was up. she was a learning curve for my first grow, and the missus has been happily smoking her as her lighter daytime smoke.
all that means is i still have another Sour Livers bean left that i can try and do a better job with. the Stilton i have going is putting out the fruity almost blueberry Livers traits and to my surprise (and excitement!) she's really got that cheesy tang to her as well!
the 52% would have just been from having the buds laid out - that pic was from not long after jarring up. the Livers stabilised at 62% rather quickly, i struggled to get the CDLC down (still reads 63% in my last jar, with 2 x Boveda 62% packs with her) but she really was a bit out of hand with greasy resin. lovely.

Subbed up!

Easy smoking! [emoji869]

nice one brother, thanks for subbin'!

Gonna give a watch see how they do.

much appreciated man, pull up a seat!

Subbed up Froot :toke:

cheers Cap'n!

little update guys :pass:

Stilton Special Day 45 - i love how clean cut the leaves look on her, if you excuse any blemishes and burns she almost looks artificial
got her spread out nicely now.
i was sceptical about how cheesy this strain would be - i've read several stories that "UK Cheese" is difficult to reproduce and most cheese strains are not comparable. not trying to get ahead of myself here, she's only just putting out some stronger odours, but instantly recognise the profile and it is very similar to the cheese cuttings i can pick up any time from the nearby city, which hasn't changed in well over a decade. but then this has that fruity and sour notes from the Livers...just wow.

Ripley's OG Day 44 - big girl had a bit of training to try and make her a bit slimmer to squeeze inside the built-in wardrobe she resides in. i toyed with fully bending over the main stem but i'm too dedicated to this Christmas tree style now. sprinkles of frost appearing - and smell? where to start with this one...
two prominent odours so far - a sweet but sickly pong that hits the back of your throat like a public toilet that's used too much industrial strength cleaning product to try and mask ageing pee. divine :eyebrows:
then she follows up with this strange mustiness, like damp, but not in an earthy-soil way - like in an old dusty cobweb way. tough to explain but hopefully you get the idea. it's not a flattering description but very happy with her so far

just a spot of trouble up on her highest fans - cropped up a few days ago and i have treated with higher doses of CalMag which appears to have stopped the little rust spots.
