New Grower Franks first grow in many years

Sorry @Frankthetank I have had computer issues today and had to go buy a new laptop. I actually do it a little different,I let my rez get pretty low, so I am almost always feeding evertime I add water. I do this so that the lowering water level actually provides an area of oxygen between the net pot and the water level. I think that by letting the water level rise and lower that it simulates natural wet/dry cycles.

Certainly toppin off with plain water is not bad and actually most people probably do it. That is just my take on it, sorry for the late response

Thanks for the response man!! I topped them off last night, but I think in the future I will let them run low, and change the solution out. :pass:

That is what I have always done, and I will be honest a lot of that had to do with bein lazy at first. There would be some times I went and my rez would be literally almost dry and I would be like ooops I guess they need water. However after doing that so many times and not really ever having any ill effects I decided to do a test run to see if it mattered. Now with that being said I did not get to complete the test but from the month or so that I did it, it looked to me that the root growth of the one that I let get go was a lot healthier. Now I do not suggest letting the rez get really low cause your roots can get dry and brittle.

Here's a quick shot of the ladies.....

Looking nice I'm thinking about starting up some bubbler buckets this winter.

Thanks man!! :pass:

I'm really liking them....this is my first grow with this setup (I used to grow photo's, in soil....and a WAYYYY crappier led, lol). Its alot to learn...but not complicated to do (if that makes sense)!

The one thing I am sold on, is the bigger air pump! The plants absolutely love it!!!
