New Grower Franks first grow in many years

Here are a few pics of the little Green Crack...day 30. I keep forgetting this little lady is 5 days behind her sister, Blackberry.

I fed her this afternoon, which should account for the nutrient stained roots. :jointman:

Yeah I don't know what but somethin aint right in those roots, I mean she is 5 days behind but she is soooooo much smaller and the roots loot brittle. Do me a favor and take a picture of the roots of the other plant for me. Also feel the roots of the smaller plant and tell me if they feel brittle at all

these buckets are not run together right? It is not a RDWC where the water is shared right
Stand alone buckets...
The roots do not feel brittle or slimy...no weird smell..

I woke up this morning to two clogged airstones.....I'm gonna try soaking them in boiling water for five minutes to see if that will clear them up.:nono:

Do you think they have been clogged for long? What you can do is get a small water pump filter bag and put it over the airstone, that should prevent it from getting clogged

I think they've probably been getting clogged at least over a few days, although yesterday bubble production wasn't noticeably lower. I think sometime overnight they became clogged (almost completely). They weren't without air completely, but might as well have been. While I was replacing airstones, I went ahead and added another one to each bucket, so the diffusion is excellent now. Hopefully they recover ok....the plants are looking a little sad today...very droopy leaves. I'll go get a pick of them now.....:pass:

did the lights just come on?

The pic on the top right shows a few burnt tips (only on top-most leaves) and a little leaf curling.

These two show leaf damage on Blackberry

This last one is Green Crack....stunted and droopy...but all leaves look healthy.

Both plants' roots look good....no brittleness....no slime....no smell.
