Ok here is what I have at the moment. A 3x3 tent,a Spider Farmer SF2000, 1 bag of FFOF, 1 bag of Mycos, 1 bag of Perlite,1 oscilating fan,1 water ph meter, and 5 NL Auto seeds. I can get anything else needed locally. Are 5 gal.smart bags the best option for me? Which nutes should I pick up? Thanks!

5 Gal smart pots should do fine, that's what I use. FFOF can be a tad hot for seedlings so just keep an eye on that aspect. As for what nutes that a loaded question lol...options are endless but Megacrop seems to be popular round these parts :toke:

Everything above is spot on. Nutes shouldn't be needed a lot given how hot FFOF is mixed, 5 gallons should easily get you thru a run. Watch the pH, I have had issues with FFOF drifting during flower.

Except cal/mg... your gonna want to start cal/mg pretty early, LED lighting seems to drive the need for that up.

Thanks! Can I pm you with a few questions?

I started with smartpots, which are ok to good.
For the same price or less you can get airpots ( Google Hercules pots) foe prices.
They are reuseable and very easy to clean between grows.
Nutes: can't go wrong with MegaCrop.
Its in expensive and easy to use.
Google MegaCrop samples to see whats free or inexpensive these days.
They often have 500 gram /1lbs bags for free ( you pay shipping for like $10.
And your good for a year without being a chemist mixing all kinds of products.

When was the last time you bought some MegaCrop?
They've changed it and I've seen some bad comments. Mainly not dissolving fully and a change in smell.

I started with the 1 lbs sample 2 years ago.
Loved the product so much I bought the 20 lbs bag for my medical grow ( 80 plants).
This was the previous version.
I have no regrets.
Like all seedlings, 0ppm weeks 1 and 2.
100 ppm week 3, 200 week 4, 400 week 5. , 500 week6 and hold at 600 till harvest.
600ppm is about 1 tablespoon. of megaCrop in 20 liters/5 gal. of water.
I do 6 buckets a day.
Yes thats 30 gallons.
Nothing comes close to the value and ease of use using MegaCrop.
Liquid nutes like General Hydroponics have a lot of hype.
Complicated and easy to kill your plants with simple mistakes.
Keep your ph at 5.9 and all will be ducky.
