New Grower First timer here, am i screwed?

Contrary to the normal peeps recommendations I would cull them. Start a new run. I think are wasting your time and effort and expenses. Autos have a short veg cycle before going in to flower. I'm surprised your girls are 28 days old TBH. If they switch to flowering as midgets you will be lucky to get a bowl full of medicine. I stopped one grow with 12 plants around day 25 because they were stunted. And totally glad I did. Within a week I found the new plants were just killing the old ones. Its super important to get your autos rocking right out of the gate.

What I would do is simplify your medium. Use coco with hydroton instead of mixing in peat with other stuff. Maybe some people mix things up but new growers shouldn't do that. It's for advanced growers. And use Tangs Easy with half strength nutes in the coco right away.

I would leave your current ones just to see what happens and in the mean time germ more in paper towels and drop in coco in either solo cups or right in the pots. You may find your new ones will quickly outgrow your old ones. Then you toss the old ones. That way you have a couple of irons in the fire. Seeds are cheap. your time is not.

Tangs Easy schedule is great. I did a couple of grows with it and no complaints.

Wise words brother!

Thanks for the suggestion, im torn. I will need to order some new seeds. Those 30 degree nights that first week killed me i bet. Learned from that mistake

That sucks. PM me if you live in Canada I can make that issue go away with a quick parcel in the mail to you. You'd also want to get some coco. its cheap though. get decent stuff though like Canna bricks are good.

Yep, low temps in germ and veg will get small plants, the roots pretty much stop transpiration @ about 50* F, read through till here and was figuring your temps were low. LED tent temps between 78 and 85, off 72-75. When I moved over from HPS I ran into the same issue of small ladies. Was still running the tent about 10* cooler. Bringing the tent temp up made huge improvements... & coco....

I live in the US, ive got a source on some, just have to wait til he gets back in the states...

I am going to check then tomorrow, if they have not doubled in size im getting some new ones. I have photo seeds, but it seems that process is a little more difficult, which is why I attempted auto's lol.

I will look inti coco. Are 5 gal planters ok, or should i be looking at smart pots and things like those?

I like airpots ... nice and simple with coco.

They are solid .. I like to pot lift daily - so hate to upset roots ... been there done that! I lift to check weight.

I use 3l ... Well grown autos IMO cannot use more.

Precharge coco to 0.3EC and use mycos - speeds up life! IMO :-)

You use 3 liter airpots? Doing the conversion that's .8 gallons, is that correct?. I have 5 gallon pots. So Coco Coir, I will check out the hydroponics shop close to me and see what they have there. So you lift your pots to check the weight? I have heard of people doing that. I know I am over watering, because I've been watering every 3 days or so until I start seeing runoff. I probably need to push that to every 5 days or so I imagine. But different growing medium could probably affect how often I need to water I assume?

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it!

Am running 3 gallon bags with coco, can't imagine going smaller and still hand watering. Am already feeding twice a day. I could definitely see smaller on a pump and timer. Would cut out a lot of mixing and carrying.

I just picked up 5 gallon fabric bags (smart pots?), and a bag of coco loco soil. I am ready to start over.
