Thanks, I had no idea.

Hi muddy.

Just joined AFN today.

I'm from amsterdam where your reputation is huge.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you

Your plant look good aside from being a bit stretched. Can you lower you light a bit more without putting too much heat on the plants?

Thanks for chiming in Muddy, I look forward to advice and comments, like getting mail when you are in Basic Training, lol. They were stretched due to the original location of the light from post number 1, to which great minds thinkalike as I thought the same thing, after moving, the glass bottom of the HID is exactly 13 1/2" from the middle autoplant. If I go any lower I am worried about the lighting to the plants on the outside of the middle cluster receiving enough. What do you think?

Oh and what is your opinion on lighting please? 18/6 or 20/4?

Hey man. Four tablespoons of ph up for a gallon seems like a shit ton, like too much. Guess I could be wrong, Muddy didn't say anything about it. I've never heard of using more than a few drops in a gallon. Usually takes me two drops. Just my :2cents:. Hope all goes well sir.

man my soil was acidic, like some were in the 4's I tested the run off after and it was in the 6's I dunno.. there is considerable amount of bark in sunshine mix #4 thanks for chiming squiddy! I am going to test the run-off again today or tomorrow..

So week 1 is over, all plants are growing and I just now rotated the plants so the smallest is in the middle and the biggest are on the outside. Tomorrow I am going to be watering my plants and I am thinking of just watering them with either ph balanced water @ 6.5, or ph balanced water with some Granny's unsulphured molasses at 1 tsp/gal. Three days ago they had a dose of superthrive, micro, and ph up so I am thinking just water.. But! What is YOUR opinion?

Also, tomorrow I get my waterproof PH tester and it's a quality model. I am looking forward to testing all my plants accurately since the chemical ph tester is worthless when my water comes out looking piss yellow. Hehe it's 4:20 Est, anyways, Saturday I will take new pictures in thumbnails this time. I like the large pictures loading all at once but everyone seems to like thumbnails. The dealer seeds that had some yellowing seem to be recovering just fine as well. I have one dealer plant that is just a monster and is looking amazing. thanks for reading! here have a joint, :smokebuds:

That sounds like a good height on the light. Just watch your nodes and raise or lower to keep that nice 1" spacing.

I prefer 20/4. Enough time for the plants to get a rest.

A little molasses won't hurt, especially if you're using any mychorrizal fungi. Feeds the little beasties.

Hey Killijin! You're set up looks great bro! One thing I noticed and Muddy will correct me if I'm wrong... Are you watering with Distilled Water all the time? Distilled water, from my experience and what I was told, it is not good to water with Distilled Water on a regular basis. It is good for flush and germinating but that's really it. Distilled Water is so stripped down there is nothing in it. I just don't know if this will be a problem for you. Again, Muddy will correct me if I'm wrong but, I would use any other type of water other than Distilled to water on a regular basis.

Other than that bro everything is looking great and you got Muddy lookin' after you so everything will be just fine! I'm subbed and I'll be checkin' in on ya! :smokebuds:

Good point WVR, thanks.

Thanks once again for the advice Muddy and WVR, and thanks for visiting my grow. I have only been using distilled water because I was under the impression, since I am growing in a soilless mix and using nutes, that having an absolute clean water medium would be ideal? I have a bag of organic blood meal at 12-0-0, a giant bag of worm castings that looks super rich, unsulphured granny molasses, superthrive, and General Hydroponic's Flora M G B series. I was under the impression that sterile water would be ideal for feeding? I do have some fresh tap at 50 ppm that was left out for 48 hours that has some carbon in it from new filters that the wrapper says plants would love... I am watering today so should i use that water, distilled water, or water with molasses? I fed my plants 3 days ago with super thrive and micro so I was wondering on a suggestion? Or should I feed them something else you suggest?

Okay, I received my Ph waterproof water tester today along with 4.0 and 7.0 calibration solutions and straight out of the package it was spot on. So, I tested 3 plants, 2 dealer/test plants and 1 auto white russian. All three, even after the watering I gave them not too long ago, were at 4.9/5.0 from drainage. So an hour ago I gave them all a clean watering with 7.5 ph water. This should raise them to around 6.3, after the soil settles and some of the moisture has evaporated, I am going to retest tomorrow morning and adjust once again. Hopefully, I can get the ph proper before the next feeding which will have 1/8th micro, 1/4th grow, 1 tsp of molasses, and 1/8th superthrive on or around this Sunday. Unless anyone think that nute solution sounds to strong or needs adjusted.
