So this morning 6/7 of the seeds have sprouted! Hopefully by the end of the day the 7th will come up, I removed a thin layer of top soil over that one to help him come up and get a little light more easier. Look at them all cute and snug. View attachment 69443View attachment 69444

Thanks Muddy btw, on a side note, these seeds to all seem pretty strong, all but 1 seed has sprouted within 72 hours of germination! I have one that is much taller than the others because the seed shell is overtop the embryonic leaves and they can't see the light, but the shells seem to be firmly stuck on the top. Should I try to remove them as delicately as possible? Anyone else have any other advice? I have reinforced the Yo Yo's with 550 type 3 nylon cord. So in case of catastrophic failure, the light isn't going anywhere. I was thinking about moving them all closer to the side wall along with the grow light and putting up a make shift visqueen closer for light reflection purposes, BUT!!! I figured that would be too intense on seedlings so I probably should wait till next week right?

I am also in the planning stages of a second grow! I plan on using silver colloidal spray on one plant from each cross using a 50 ppm distilled spray solution. I plan on forcing the pollination to occur in one or two branches of the same plant then pollinating the remaining branches for a good batch of feminized seeds that I won't have to worry about ordering from the UK anymore. Also since it was their birthday and they were having a huge promotion, I ordered a 5 pack of smurfberry autos to see how they would do. In the process I received the following for free!
Order Inventory:
SAGARMATHA SEEDS Smurfberry Automatic Feminized x5
Cali Connection Seeds Buddha Tahoe OG Feminized x1
Connoisseur Genetics Seeds SSSDH x2
Paradise Delahaze Feminized x1
Reserva Privada OG Kush #18 Feminized x1
TH Seeds MKage Feminized x1
UFO#1 Dinafem Seeds Super Silver x1
UFO#2 Dinafem Seeds Cheese x1
UFO#1 Samsara Seeds Crazy Miss Hyde Feminized x1

UFO#2 World of Seeds Sugar Mango Ryder x1

These last 2 were part of the old order for which is part of the first grow. After I see how these autoflowers do, then I will probably do some main plants for fun and experience. Buddha tahoe OG and OG KUSH #18 look and sound particularly delicious.

Keep that one seedling misted with water so the shell stays moist. You can take a pair of tweezers and gently, very gently, try to remove it. If it doesn't come off easily, don't force it. Yes, let them get a little bigger then start gradually lowering your light. 600 watters are very bright and put off a lot of heat. Get it too close and it could burn your tender seedlings.

Thanks again Muddy, I took the shells off really delicately with some tweezers, they came off with very light force and didn't bother the plant. The sprouts are all about 2-3 inches tall now and dark green. One has not poked through the dirt I am thinking about investigating and checking it out or should I wait even longer? one sprout kinda just stopped doing anything and is a pale green, it broke the surface and then just kinda stopped doing anything even after 24, but it is still pale green and hasn't moved. So 5 are strong thus far, I just got a big bag of worm casting fertilizer at 1.5 liters but I don't think I am going to add any to this grow at least not until they are vegetating. This stuff looks INSANELY rich deep dark black.. Is there any other pointers or advice anyone has for me yet?

Glad to hear you were able to get the shells off so easily. On the one that stopped growing, is the soil very wet?

Good looking setup.550 lb test rope should work, thats what i use to pull water skiers behind my boat.

Nope pretty fair, just moist, the very top is actually kind of arid. I think I am starting to see some life in it though.

Does it look kind of yellow?

Nice equipment. Obviously you're growing in a country where it's legal to grow as otherwise your twin roof-ducts will be easy to spot by any heat-seeking police anti-cannabis helicopter.( Surprisingly, Hot lighting systems hidden behind "Thick" concrete are also easy to spot too as concrete is an excellent conductor of heat). For me this is when the CFL camp win the argument against the "HPS camp". Three 2700k CFL red-spectrum lights above and a few of lower ampage aimed inches at the sides of a few plants give off collectively about 60.000 lumens, but practically give out no heat and are very low in electricity consumption. Sure, the HPS will "outbud" the CFLs, but only by about 10-15%, (in MY experience) and happily some auto strians seem to thrive on CFLs. For the die-hard "HPS or die" camp they usually use around and across their windows and/ or roofs
good well-sealed loft-insulation to keep the cop heat-seeking helicopters at bay in countries where even personal growers are acting illegally. But then they must also disperse their heat loss sneakily and of course carbon filter the smell away.

Your grow set-up looks great, and i'm sure you will succeed. (Auto-god willing!)

Peace

Hi muddy.

I'm from amsterdam where your reputation is huge.

Nope, I am growing in West by God Virginia lol, and those twin ducts are in a 31" x 19" window panel. on the left side of my home, second story. I am trying to figure out a way to reduce my fan's noise however, as when you pull up you can definitely hear some buzzing above my home's entry door. I photographed my room with a heat signature mode from a video camera that my friend has, and the room looks very normal. Now what you see is a HID very very close to the plants, but fret not wary nighttime traveler, I have a glass panel that slides in the bottom of my reflector, so the intake fan cools off the light and takes and pushes the heated air out and over the room with very little heat coming through the glass. I can hold my hand 1 inch from the very bottom of the glass and even touch the glass panel without any problems. So I think I am going to heavily accelerate the growth of these buggers now.

I found my seventh seed, apparently I accidentally put it in the same pot as the one auto that hasn't done too well, that seedling baby however, is now dark green and looking pretty good.. Sorry my camera sucks. I will transplant it to a new pot in a week or so. I gave all my plants a feeding last night of 1/4 tsp of superthrive and flora micro, along with about 4 tablespoons of ph up per gallon of water. My soil was highly acidic, red/orange in the high 4's, and after that high dose my ph went up to yellow green around 6.5 so I had to do it. Here are some new pictures and how I have altered the grow since, yes I do realize that those 2 plants are discolored and yellow but they are not auto's and were obtained from "dealer seed" those are my test plants for run-off and nutes so I am not worried about them. I am worried about the really big and really doing well plant though, not worried so much as I am taking extra care with it as it seems to especially be a really quality plant, I hope it goes female. I am still conflicted on 18/6 and 20/4. Anyone chime in on your opinion about that? Ed Rosenthal seems to say that the more light the better during the seedling phase, even up to 24 hours, but I honestly think that every plant should be able to rest a bit. Every picture also has information when you rest your icon over them so if you want details be sure to just let your cursor hover over the pic for a few seconds without moving it. So any opinions and words of advice? SDC14123.jpgSDC14122.jpgSDC14121.jpgSDC14120.jpgSDC14119.jpgSDC14126.jpgSDC14124.jpg the second to last picture is where the small runt plant and the 7th seed that I thought was lost are.. I think they are going to be okay, even if they are behind schedule with the others a bit. How does my lighting profle look?
