first time grow

@Dell boy :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: Your plant is showing signs of Nitrogen toxicity ( too much nitrogen) There are three tools a soil grower should have in the kit. PH soil probe, PH pen and an EC meter. . For the soil probe get an Accurate 8 (or the clone) for the PH pen I use Blue Lab and for the EC pen I also use Blue Lab. Don't buy cheap ones, buy good tools or risk the loss of a crop.

Knowing the PH in the root zone is important. I am pretty sure you just overfed the plant but lets start with the PH.
Thank you for your reply i have got blue lab ph pen and ec meter havent got soil probe tho dint now about that one i have been ph 5.5 and i have only been light feeding them as directed by the canna chart or are these not a good way to do it
all help is greetfully receved

5.5 is too low for even DWC. DWC 5.8 -6.2, Coco/peat blends 6.1 - 6.4 and soil 6.4 - 6.8.

Lets get a full picture of what you are doing and I will move this thrad to the Infirmary for more attention.

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate:
night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics!

Knowing the PH in the root zone is important. I am pretty sure you just overfed the plant but lets start with the PH.

What you need to learn about watering will come with practice. Here are the basic rules: Never let the soil dry out. Soil and or coco can become hydrophobic if allowed to dry. This means it repels water. This in turn will create dry pockets in the soil and roots there will die. If your soil - coco have accidentally dried out use a surfactant to help re-wet it. I like yucca powder. Don't let soil remain soggy by watering too much too often. Root rot, damping off, molds, fungus gnats and other problems start in soggy soil. When you do water water the entire pot. How to learn when to water starts before you plant the seed. Fill your container with fresh soil/coco and weigh it (heft it) this is the lightest weight and consider it a dry pot. Now slowly water until the soil/coco will no longer absorb the water and run-off begins; weigh the pot (heft it) this is the maximum water, the wettest the pot can get. The difference between wettest and driest is the maximum water weight, for ease of explanation lets just say the water weighs 20 pounds. When the pot loses 10 pounds (half of the water weight) it is time to water again. There is an art to watering.
Thank you for your help i will put this it to practice

These are what i am using
1 canna coco choir plus
2 coco canna a&b canna cannazym canna rhizotonic

A moisture meter is far more accurate than a finger and is a better trainer for an important part of growing.
Dunno man. My finger never misses. If it ever feels wet/dry that's always what it is. No batteries and if I break it I can just use a different finger while I wait for the broken one to heal.:toke:
