Hi guys, have just started my first ever grow, and I thought it'd be a good idea to document it all on here. I've been a long time lurker - trying to soak up as much information as I can for a successful grow. I've spent the past couple of months acquiring the bits and pieces I need and I finally germinated a couple days ago and I'm under way.

My soul purpose for posting a journal is to seek as much feedback/criticism/tips/advice/whatever as I can get, so please, go for it - I'm all ears.

So I will be growing in a 1.2m x 2.4m tent:
x2 Dutch Passion Auto Glueberry OG
x2 Dutch Passion Auto Mazar
x2 Dinafem Auto Cheese XXL
x2 Dinafem White Widow XXL

All in 5 Gallon Airpots, filled with Canna Terra Pro soil mix. I'll be using TaNg's easy feed schedule which I found on this forum. I will be monitoring my pH, and aiming for 6.5.

I have a 6"/150mm extraction fan/carbon filter setup with a 6" inlet fan. A couple of oscillating fans setup for air flow also, but to be used a bit later on.

After a bit of research, I decided to splurge out and buy two HLG 550 v2's. Pretty awesome light.
To start with, I'm hanging them 700mm above seedlings, dimmed down as far as they can go. Going to be a bit of trial and error I guess.

Here's a couple of photo's of the tent and lights to get things moving along:

Thanks for reading. I'll try check in as often as I can and fingers crossed she all goes well.

Best of luck on the grow and one heck of a setup to start with. I'll be checking in from time to time but if you need any help just ask away or jump over in the Live Stoner Gossip thread as lots of us hang out there throughout the day.

Welcome to AFN @bergs149 . To get someone’s attention put the atmark @ in front of their AFN name like I did for you. You are off to a good start with good equipment. You may find that an 8" exhaust system may be needed to control humidity when the plants get big. It takes more air movement than you might think. If you do need to go bigger I recommend HyperFan with the variable speed controller included.

Good luck :goodluck::welcome::pop:

Nice bush factory lol ,QB’s rock ! Love mine , with the combined knowledge & help on this site I see a potential 2lbs or so ! Just be careful, those lights will cook plants with light intensity. The good thing is your learning with this light & not switching from another brand your familiar with . I’m not familiar with your nutes , but my plants need more cal/mag though out the grow & more phosphorus in bloom . But I’m using mega crop so this might not imply to you. Happy growing man !
