Howdy all. Update time. Everything still doing fine, fattening up and stinking like crazy.

This is the big bud in the back of the can.

This is the big bud in the front of the can. Almost a duplicate photo from the previous update, so you can see the comparison after a few days time. Not much difference, but it's progressing.

Alright, I'm in need of some advice regarding harvest time.

I'll post some pics in a little while, but here's where I'm at. It's been just shy of 70 days from germination. It's really stinky, and quite frosty. The buds haven't seemed to be getting any bigger the past few days. The trichomes also seem to be cloudy. I say seem because I don't have a loupe to examine them, just a small, toy magnifying glass.

So, should I be aiming to chop and start the harvest this weekend, or do I still have some time to go?

hold fire clear trichs close together will give the appearance of white/cloudy from a distance.most breeders are lieing threw their teeth on harvest times ( add a week or two to most) or to be a lil more politicaly correct they state earliest chop times.ontop of that we all like a slightly different high.i like it all in my head so chop early,someone else who likes a body high will chop later (amber).some may even chop the top half this weekend and the rest next weekend.

Thanks for the feedback @archie_gemmill. The ILGM site lists 56 days for this strain, so I'm already beyond that.

One of the other reasons I'm itching to chop is the smell. My wife is tired of this stinking up the house, so I moved it out to the shed during the day. When I got home yesterday, I could smell it outside the shed. Just a faint smell, but there all the same. So security is also a reason I'm thinking to chop sooner rather than later.

Thoughts anyone?

Security first, if you are worried too much it's not worth it, unless you like the adrenaline rush. As Archie said they look like could go a couple more weeks, but are smokable now. You will find the high to be more energy related, think house will be cleaned top to bottom. If you wait a couple of weeks then high will be more relaxed, think sitting on the sofa waiting for the house cleaner to show up. [emoji23]

Alright, I'm beginning the end tonight. Smell was even worse today after work. So, tonight will start 48 hours of darkness for my NL auto. Quick question, do I keep fans going during this period of darkness?

You need the circulation to prevent any bud rot setting in

I got a stinky plant this time so I bought a couple of super cheap stinky air fresheners and stuck them outside. Works a treat, smells like a shitty air freshener from work. Lol
