New Grower First Time CFL Micro Grow - Northern Lights

Alright, so they've been in the shed drying for the past week. Started last Saturday night, and when I checked this morning, they are still not at the snapping point. I've had the fans running 15 minutes every hour to pull fresh air into the can. This morning I changed it to 30 minutes every hour. Should I be worried that it's taking this long, or just continue to go with the flow and let them be done when they're done? Any changes I should be making?

It's just a case of taste, while drying my plants i let a fan running 24 h nonstop on lowest level, so humidity can move out steadily.

A matter of taste like how? I thought they had to be "branch snap" dry before cutting them off the branches and jarring them up.

No you don't have to jar them when they snap because they can over dry...

when they are "bending" and almost like a snap, but not to the point that it snaps
How do I explain...

Like a little bit of moisture in the stem.

Unfortunately, that brings me to my next question.

Do my cure jars need to be mason jars, or is it fine to use normal jars (i.e., an old jelly jar, washed out of course)?

Alright. Ended up with just shy of 10 grams worth of goodness. A little disappointing, but I'm happy regardless.

Weighing up the buds:

Currently letting the jar air out a bit, and then will start the burping process. May roll up a small test joint tonight or tomorrow night and smoke it with the wife.

i find it sad to that wet to dry we lose 75% of the weight.

As for what's next, I haven't decided yet. Definitely rolling up a joint of this Northern Lights with the wife tonight. Will report back on how it smokes.

I still have 4 NL auto seeds left from my order. I'd like to grow again, but the damn trash can just doesn't hold odor well towards the end of flowering. That would mean either spending some dough to upgrade to a tent w/carbon filter, try a small outdoor grow, or try a guerrilla grow.

Any grow I do would not start until mid-May due to travel reasons, so I have some time to think about it.
