New Grower First Time CFL Micro Grow - Northern Lights

Alright. It's been two days, and I finally have a smoke report. Sunday night, I tried rolling a joint, but it didn't go well at all. Being my rookie self, I dropped one of the buds into my grinder and the thing just gummed up the works. So I pulled out the pieces, rolled it up and it wouldn't stay lit at all. Then I opened up the joint, and tried rolling the mushed up bits into a spliff. Also failed. Wasted weed and wife and I both had a good laugh at how retarded I am. :crying:

Yesterday, I read up a little on the subject. So, when I got home from work, I immediately took out what I planned to smoke, broke it up by hand and let it sit out for a few hours. This allowed it to dry out a bit, and when I then added the little pieces to the grinder, it worked perfectly. I ended up with enough for three joints (though we only smoked one). My wife only took a couple hits, and I finished the rest. At first there was nothing (but at least the joint was burning!), and my wife says she didn't feel anything. I, however, ended up with a nice body high, which kind of crept up out of nowhere. Whole body tingled, I felt couch locked, and then I got a little loopy. :woohoo:

Long story short: I'm retarded at making joints, but the end result is my grow successfully produced weed that works. :smoking:

the outside of a bud can be crispy to the touch but still a tad soft in the centre.the drying is only the first part, the curing is kinda the evening out of the tiny bit of moisture the bud retains.can take a week or so after the dry of opening up the jar to burp for 10-30 mins a day.
you got a smoke in the end and thats the main thing after a sucessfull 1st grow
i were all fingers and thumbs at a time to,have you tried working it out with a pencil ?

:pighug:

Yes, aside from the two joints that I still have from last night, the rest of the bud will be left to cure for a few weeks.

I've seen your pencil tutorial, but didn't try because I can't figure out how to get the herb in there once rolled. It seems that it would time consuming to drop it in bit by bit.

I also am having a heck of a time rolling a joint with a roach. It always falls out. I've had better success on the ones without roaches.

I guess in the end, it just takes practice.

Lol. I just might.

Smoked the remaining two joints last night. Ho-lee fuck. Knocked me on my ass. Whole body tingling/vibrating, couldn't move for a few hours. This stuff is good. I can't imagine what it would be like if I had let it go for another two weeks or so.

The rest is still curing in the jar. It airs out for ~5-10 minutes per night, and also has a 62% Boveda in the jar.
