New Grower First Time Auto Growing Need Help!

Chopped at Day 103 i think. Unless its my imagination, the stabbing worked. I will definitely be doing this again on ready to harvest plants. Buds are fat for such an under developed plant. Her trunks are just slightly larger than large branches on other plants. So am very happy with how she yielded.

Can you believe she almost damped off and was subjected to all sorts of terror?

This grow is pretty much done. Will still update with weight for WW2 and perhaps a smoke report now and then. Next grow is scheduled to begin end of June/beginning of July.

I feel like summarizing this first grow into one long post though. Don't know if i can overcome the laziness in me. We'll see....

Thank you all for making this more successful than i could have ever imagined!

Congrats! what does sticking the spoon through the stem do? :woohoo:

Supposedly stresses the plant and makes buds fatter. From what I read, its recommended to be done a few days to a week before harvest. I only did 48 hours and was satisfied with what I saw. I also did not do total darkness. Only did 12/12 to my best abilities. Also, instead of spoon, it should have been a pencil or something similar but this plant is just too small trunk wise.

The plant did not skip a beat. Interested to see the results on healthy large plants.

Nice. Maybe I'll try something like this myself.

The theory is that the plant feels a great stress,
and then does everything it can to protect itself.
That includes more trichomes -- because trichomes protect against bug, etc. attacks, high heat, etc.
And also more flowers, as it tries to finally seed itself for the next generation before dying.
So says the theory, and studies have confirmed it, to some degree, IIRC.

Man o man step away for a minute and bam success bro . Great harvest you are now way past rookie grower . Just build on your successes.

All good! Just busy with life and learning bout QB boards here and there. Of course, also thinking of what to test/try for next grow? Within limits of course.

Just taking it easy during one of the hotter months for most ppl...i think..lol

Will start a journal when about ready.
