Week 2 of Flower: And Then There Was One
Well folks, today is day 22 since the flip. Like I said on my last post, I started counting flowering days on first signs of pistils which was two weeks ago. Yesterday, I did my first major trimming session and removed all the growth that hadn't made it's way to the net. It took about 2 hours, and I removed as few fan leaves as possible. Basically, only leaves that were proper nuisances were removed.
And if you've seen the above post, I have a bit of bad news: I spotted some male flowers on the Bubba Kush. I snipped as many off as I could find, then slept on it...
Today I decided to take the plants out of the tent and get a proper look. Unfortunately, I found a lot more balls. The Bubba had hermied. I decided to cut my loses, and I destroyed the plant. Now, only the Green Crack remains. I'm happy to report the Green Crack looks pretty healthy, and there is zero sign of any male traits.
I put a new trellis on it and tried to pry as much as I could to the outsides to try to fill up as much of the tent as possible. I think I'll give this another week or so pushing the branches as far as part as possible to continue to fill up space in the tent before I just let her be.
